NLAT Cancelled, all admission in all NLUs is via CLAT.

The National Law Admission Test (NLAT) 2020 has been conducted by NLSIU Bangalore on September 12. The syllabus of NLAT 2020 will be based on five main subjects and, candidates who are already preparing for CLAT 2020 or similar exams can crack the exam easily. Here we have listed main topics from each subject as mentioned by NLSIU Bangalore for NLAT 2020 syllabus.

The subject-wise syllabus that candidates can refer to is as under: 

Subjects Important Topics

English Language

Reading comprehension, Sentence completion and correction, Spelling errors, Proverbs and adverbs, Synonyms and antonyms, idioms and phrases, Vocabulary and word meanings

Current Affairs Including General Knowledge

General knowledge about world leaders, industrialists, lawyers, Contemporary events of significance from India and the world, Arts and culture of India and world, National and International current affairs, Historical events of continuing significance

Legal Reasoning

Facts, situations or outlines of legal matters, public policy or moral philosophical enquiries, General awareness of contemporary legal and moral issues, and Legal terms and meanings

Logical Reasoning

Analogies, Arguments and Conclusions, Sequences, Arrangements, Patterns etc.

Quantitative Techniques

Ratios and proportions, Basic algebra, Mensuration, Statistics, Profit and loss, Mensuration and, Time and work 

The General Comprehension passages will be of 500 words each followed by 10 questions (2 on each subject).
