KCET 2026 Exam: The exam body, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), will release the KCET notification 2026 soon. After the release of the notification, it will accept the KCET application form 2026. Students meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to fill the application form of KCET 2026 from - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. 

Candidates who successfully submit the online application form will be issued the KCET admit card 2026 to appear in the exam. The KCET 2026 exam is expected to be held in April in (pen and paper mode). Check more details related to the KCET 2026 here.

What is KCET?

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test, which is commonly known as the KCET, is an annual entrance exam. It is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) to shortlist students for admission into professional courses like Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma), Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharma), Agriculture courses (Farm Science), and Veterinary courses.

Candidates who desire to take admission to Medical or Dental or Ayurveda or Unani or Homoeopathy courses must qualify National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam whereas candidates seeking admission to Architecture course through KCET must have qualified JEE Main Paper-2 or NATA to participate in KCET counselling.

Candidates should be a pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as one of the Languages and secured 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate at 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam in all the subjects (45% for reserved category) 

BE/BTech 

Candidates should be a pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as one of the Languages and obtained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer (40% for reserved category) 

Farm Science courses means, BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BSc (Hons) Sericulture, BSc (Hons) Horticulture, BSc (Hons) Forestry, BTech Biotechnology, BSc (Hons) Community Science, BTech (Agril. Engg), BTech (Food Technology), BTech (Dairy Technology), BFSc (Fisheries), BSc (Hons) Ag. Maco. 

Candidates should have passed 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology as optional subjects. 

Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) 

Candidates should pass 2nd PUC / Class 12 and obtain a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects (40% for reserved category). 

BPharma 

Passed in 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and obtained minimum 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects. (40% for reserved category candidates) or 

Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act and has secured minimum of 45% marks. (40% for reserved category candidates) 

2nd Year BPharma 

Candidates should have passed Diploma in Pharmacy examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act and have secured minimum of 45% marks. (40% for reserved category candidates) 

DPharma 

Candidates should pass 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics OR 

  

Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. 

Naturopathy & Yoga 

Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible for admission to Naturopathy & Yoga courses (40% for reserved category candidates).

KCET Application Form 2026

Karnataka Examination Authority will start the KCET application form 2026 soon. Applicants must fill the KCET application form at kea.kar.nic.in till the last date. The application process of KCET 2026 comprises registration, filling form, uploading documents and payment of the fee. Candidates must note that the KCET application form 2026 will be available online only. It is advisable to preview all the information before submitting the KCET application form. KEA will not allow candidates to change any personal information after submitting the KCET 2026 application form. Applicants were advised to fill the KCET application form at earliest to avoid last moment payment failure issues. To avail a reservation, it is essential to enter the correct details; otherwise, it can result in rejection.

KCET Application Form Correction 2026

KCET 2026 application correction facility will be available online. Registered candidates can edit or correct the details they have submitted in KCET application form. The official correction facility dates will be announced soon. All details will not be open for corrections. Candidates do not have to pay any fee to make changes in the form. Since changes can be done once through correction facility, candidates are advised to be careful.

KCET 2026 Admit Card

Karnataka Examination Authority will  release the KCET hall ticket 2026 online at the official website. Successfully registered candidates will be issued KCET admit card at kea.kar.nic.in. Applicants are required to have their application number and password to download KCET 2026 admit card.

Applicants appearing in the exam have to carry their KCET hall ticket along with one valid photo ID proof to the exam centre. Candidates are advised to check all details after downloading KCET admit card 2026. In case of any mistake in Karnataka CET Hall ticket, applicants are advised to contact the exam authority for corrections.

KCET 2026 Answer Key

The KCET 2026 provisional answer key and link to raise objections WILL be activated a few days after the exam is conducted. The KCET 2026 answer key will be released for Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates will be able to raise objections till the last date. Candidates must email their objections to the authorities along with the supporting documents. KCET 2026 Result

KCET Result 2026 will be OUT in May 2026, tentatively. The Karnataka Examination Authority will release the KCET 2026 result online. The KCET 2026 scorecard will be available for download on the official website. The KCET result link 2026 and portal will be LIVE for a time while so that candidates can check their qualification status.

Applicants appearing in the exam will be able to check their KCET results at kea.kar.nic.in. The login credentials required to check KCET results 2026 are registration number and first four characters of student's name. The scorecard of KCET 2026 comprises scores in individual subjects, rank, personal details and others. Applicants declared qualified based on results will be called for the counselling process later.
