What is KCET?
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test, which is commonly known as the KCET, is an annual entrance exam. It is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) to shortlist students for admission into professional courses like Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma), Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharma), Agriculture courses (Farm Science), and Veterinary courses.
Candidates who desire to take admission to Medical or Dental or Ayurveda or Unani or Homoeopathy courses must qualify National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam whereas candidates seeking admission to Architecture course through KCET must have qualified JEE Main Paper-2 or NATA to participate in KCET counselling.

Karnataka Examination Authority will release the KCET hall ticket 2026 online at the official website. Successfully registered candidates will be issued KCET admit card at kea.kar.nic.in. Applicants are required to have their application number and password to download KCET 2026 admit card.
Applicants appearing in the exam have to carry their KCET hall ticket along with one valid photo ID proof to the exam centre. Candidates are advised to check all details after downloading KCET admit card 2026.
