Is UCEED Exam Tough?
Yes, UCEED is a challenging exam. But it does not require candidates to have advanced drawing skills. The difficulty is due to a combination of different types of questions and the limited time available.
UCEED is conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to B.Des programmes. It has two parts:
- Part A: Computer-based test
- Part B: Drawing and design aptitude questions
- Total duration: 3 hours
- UCEED question paper structure:
- Part A was of 200 marks: 14 Numerical Answer Type questions, 15 Multiple Select Questions and 28 Multiple Choice Questions.
- Part B was of 100 marks: Two drawing questions.
Therefore, students cannot prepare for UCEED only by practising drawing. They also need to develop their numerical ability, visualisation, observation and problem-solving skills.
