NIFT GAT 2021 was held today from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Check out question paper review by the students who appeared for NIFT GAT.
The NIFT 2021 Entrance Exam was conducted today at various exam centres across India. Both CAT and GAT exams were held today. Shiksha visited a NIFT exam centre to speak with students about the NIFT GAT exam and difficulty level. Most of the test takers shared that the questions were easy in terms of difficulty level. Aspirants also shared that compared to past years' NIFT exam papers, this edition of the design entrance exam was comparatively easy.

Tanisha Sharma said her exam went well, better than she expected. The GAT paper was quite easy and I was able to attempt it well. However, CAT paper was a bit tricky as it had questions on online classes which needed vivid imagination so that was time consuming. Rest of the paper was good. English section was easy, anyone could have scored well in it. Mathematics was quite tricky for me and I left many questions. Analytical Ability was very simple and GK was neither very tough not easy. There were questions on sports, Joe Biden, coronavirus vaccine, etc.

Diya said the NIFT GAT paper was easy, all the questions were easy and GK section was the easiest. The Quant section was very basic and easy. In Reasoning section, we had to find the odd one out, like that in coding-decoding. English section was also pretty easy. It has questions on unseen passages and word meaning.
Madhvi said it was her first attempt and the NIFT GAT 2021 paper was easy, The exam was easy but I found Quant section difficult. GK section was quite easy. However, in English, some questions were really easy and some were tough.”
Prerna who came from Gwalior to appear for NIFT entrance exam 2021 in Delhi said, “Quant was easy and most of the questions were from speed and time and number systems. In Communication Ability section the questions were asked from synonyms, antonyms, grammatical errors in sentences. GK section had three to four current affairs questions while rest of them were from static GK. The GK questions included brand ambassadors and brands and Nobel peace prize, etc. Analytical Reasoning section was easy. Most of the questions were on rearrangement and sequencing. The paper was very easy.
Rohini said, the paper was easy but she could not complete the paper so she is expecting to score around 90. “the paper was easy as compared to last year. In GK the questions were on brands and brand ambassadors, Nobel peace prize, etc., “said Rohini.
Tanya said, “the NIFT GAT paper was good and the difficulty level was same as last two years. In Communication Ability there were 4-5 passages and grammar questions. In Reasoning there were mostly coding-decoding questions. GK section had questions on brands and awards etc.”
NIFT 2021 Entrance Exam is conducted to shortlist aspirants for admission in Bachelor of Design (BDes), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech), Master of Design (MDes), Master of Fashion Management (MFM) and Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech) offered at colleges accepting NIFT scores for admission.

There are a total of 19 NIFTs in India that participate in the NIFT admission process. The participating institutes offer B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M courses. Admission to the participating institutes will be on the basis of NIFT scores.
