GATE 2017 results got declared on the GATE Online Application Website on March 26. The exam result was scheduled to be released on March 27, however, the same was declared a day before.
The scores of the exam remains valid for a period of three years from the date of result announcement.
After GATE 2017 results are declared, students who have qualified the exam are required to download their score cards for the paper they have taken the exam. Aspirants can download GATE 2017 score cards from March 26 to May 26, 2017. The same will be available on GATE's GOAPS website.

Aspirants can obtain a soft copy of GATE 2017 score cards from May 26 till December 31, 2017 by paying a fee of Rs.500 on the GOAPS website. Please note that there is no provision of issuing hard copies of GATE scorecards.

Candidates need to meet minimum qualifying mark to participate in GATE 2026 CCMT counselling. The CGPA is different for each category. Yes, candidates with GATE score of 400 to 500 are also eligible for COAP counselling. However, admission and selection chances completely depends on different criteria such as branch selection, competition level, category, etc.

Yes, ITT Guwahati released GATE 2026 qualifying cutoff marks for all subjects on March 28. Candidates can check passing mark of respective papers now.

Aspirants with GATE scores can get admission in M.Tech programme at IIIT Pune. The seats are allotted via CCMT Counselling. In 2025, the closing GATE cutoff was 354 for Electronics & Communication Engineering and 536 for CSE. The cutoffs are quite competitive considering the limited seats available
