How to Fill MHT CET Application Form 2026: Maharashtra state CET cell has released the MHT CET application form online on the official website cetcell.mahacet.org. MHT CET application process is ongoing, and last date to apply is February 12. To fill application form, candidates have to complete three major stages: registering in CET portal, applying for MHT CET exam and paying MHT CET application fee.

How to Fill MHT CET 2026 Application Form
To fill MHT CET form, candidates must be ready with important details like personal details, educational details, and communication details etc. Check detailed process below to apply for MHT CET 2026:
Registration at CET portal
- Candidates have to first create an account at CET portal. To do so, visit official website - cetcell.mahacet.org.
- Next, enter details asked like your name, email ID, mobile number and date of birth.
- Thereafter, create a password and click on ‘Register’ button to complete registration process.
- This creates your MHT CET login.
Email verification
- After registration details are submitted, a verification link is sent to email IDs of candidates.
- Candidates have to open their registered email and click on verification link sent to them.
- Only after verification, registration gets completed.
DigiLocker Link
- Once verification is done, candidates are redirected to the MHT CET registration screen.
- Click on "Proceed to DigiLocker".
- Thereafter, add your Aadhaar number and verify OTP sent.
- Then verify with 6-digit pin.
- After this, DigiLocker will open.
- If Digilocker has your APAAR ID and Aadhaar Card, select them and click on "verify". If APAAR ID and Aadhaar Card are not available in Digiclocker, first add them and then proceed with verification.
- This connects DigilLocker to MHT CET registration portal.
Fill MHT CET form and pay fee
- To fill MHT CET form, candidates have to first select CET they want to apply for.
- Then, select preferred exam city, qualification and category details.
- Next, candidates have to pay applicable application fee.
- After application fee is paid, candidates have to take a printout of filled and submitted form. Keep this document safe for all future reference.

Candidates can get an APAAR ID for MHT CET registration by registering on the DigiLocker website. Candidates can also get the APAAR enrollment number from their school.
No, candidates have to pay the MHT CET application fee online only using the available payment modes like net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/Mobile wallets.
Important Details to Remember while Filling MHT CET Application Form
- Device Recommendation: Do not use a mobile phone to fill the form; use a laptop or desktop to avoid formatting and upload errors.
- Non-Editable Fields: Once submitted, you cannot change your Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, or Email ID, even during the correction window.
- Group Selection: Clearly specify if you are appearing for PCM (Engineering), PCB (Pharmacy), or both. Scores for Physics and Chemistry cannot be interchanged between groups.
- Exam Centres: You must select four preferred cities. Once allotted, they cannot be changed.

The facility of making corrections in MHT CET application form is provided for candidates to edit incorrect details filled in the form. However, not all the details filled in application form can be changes.
- Name, mobile number and email ID of candidates CANNOT be changed.
- Candidates can change their category, photo, signature and other uploaded documents
- Paper for which appearing (PCB or PCM)
- In case candidate changes their category from unreserved to reserved category, they will be required to pay the difference in application fee
The MHT CET 2026 application form was released on January 10. Candidates have to keep the Aadhaar card and APAAR ID ready for registration.
It is not advised to fill MHT CET application form 2026 using mobiles. If candidates do not have a laptop/computer, they can visit the computer centres in market for filling the MHT CET 2026 application form. As filling the application form involves uploading scanned images of photo, signature and other required documents, it could be difficult to resize and upload these documents if filling the form through mobile.

After MHT CET Form Fill Up
After MHT CET forms are filled and submitted, CET cell will issue MHT CET admit card to registered candidates. The candidates have to download MHT CET admit card and carry it to allotted exam centre. Without admit card, candidates will not be allowed to appear in exam.
In MHT CET 2026 admit card, candidates can check their MHT CET exam date, time and allotted exam centre. Also, the admit card is one of the most important documents that will also be needed at time of MHT CET counselling 2026. Therefore, even after exam is over, admit card must be kept safe.
