The authority has issued the first notification for JEE Mains 2026, which is an advisory/instruction on the documents required for JEE Mains. The authority has urged candidates to get their documents updated and ready for the JEE Main registration, which will commence in October 2025. Eligible applicants must get their documents validated and updated to avoid any discrepancies or rejection at a later stage. Students must ensure the following documents are updated:
- Aadhaar Card: Make sure it is updated with the correct name, date of birth (as per Class 10th certificate), latest photograph, address and father's name.
- UDID Card: Applicable for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates only.

The JEE Main 2026 syllabus pdf will be published on the website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The authority will release the JEE Main syllabus for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, comprising all the topics that will be tested in the exam.
