Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam 2026 ( KIITEE )
KEAM 2022 exam dates have been announced by CEE Kerala. KEAM 2022 will be held on June 12 in offline mode. KEAM 2022 is held annually to offer admission to the interested candidates in BTech courses at various government and private colleges in Kerala. Candidates will be given admission on the basis of equal weightage from Class 12 marks and rank list of KEAM 2022. The application form of KEAM 2022 will be available online on its official website at cee.kerala.gov.in. KEAM or Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical Entrance Examination is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) Kerala for admissions into Engineering, Medical, and Architecture courses.

KEAM 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Below is the eligibility criteria for KEAM 2022 is summarized below. Candidates must make sure that they satisfy the same before appearing in the entrance test.
- Age limit - Candidates who have completed 17 years of age as, on December 31, 2022 are eligible to appear for KEAM 2022.
- Educational qualification – The eligible candidates have to pass class XII science subjects. (Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry).
- Qualifying marks– Applicants must have secured a minimum 50% marks in Mathematics as well as 50% marks in aggregate in Physics and Chemistry.
- Reservation – Candidates from the socially backward category will have 5% relaxation.
- Nativity – Candidates belonging to Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK I) and Non-Keralite Category-II (NK II) have to produce a nativity certificate.
KEAM 2022 Application Form
The application form of KEAM 2022 will be available online in February. There are five steps to follow when applying for KEAM 2022 registration. Candidates should complete all the steps for filling KEAM application form before the last date of application submission.
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology mentions the KIITEE exam pattern in the official notification. Applicants appearing in the exam are advised to refer to the exam pattern for their preparations. KIITEE exam comprises 120 questions from Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. Applicants looking for Biotechnology courses have to attempt the Biology section instead of Mathematics. Applicants will be awarded four marks for each correct answer while there will be a negative marking of one mark for wrong answer. All the questions will be asked in Multiple Choice format.
Step 1: Registration – In this step, candidates have to register online on the official website CEE Kerala. Candidates have to provide the basic details and create an application number and password to login at various stages of admission.

Step 2: Filling KEAM application form – Thirdly, candidates have to provide their personal, educational, income, reservation details in the application.
Step 3: Uploading of images – Next, candidates have to upload scanned images of photographs and signatures with the given dimensions.

Step 4: Paying the application fee - In this step, candidates have to provide payment details of application fee. Any candidate who does not belong to SC/ST community will be treated as a general category candidate for the collection of application fee. The application fee for all candidates will be as follows:
- General: Rs.700
- SC / ST: Rs.300
Note: ST candidates whose annual family income is below Rs 40,000
Step 5: Taking a printout of application form - After payment, candidates have to take a printout of the application form. Candidates must also note that proforma (s) should also be printed along with the application. Do not send the printout of the application form to the CEE office.
KEAM 2022 Admit Card
KEAM admit card 2022 will be issued by CEE Kerala after registration. Candidates who have registered for the exam can download KEAM admit card by entering the application number and password on the candidate login window. The details like the name of candidates, father's name, exam date and time, test centres address, important instructions etc. Candidates must note that facilitation centres will be available across Kerala from where candidates can download and take printouts of their KEAM admit card. It is important for all the candidates to keep safely KEAM 2022 admit card without which candidates will not be able to appear in the exam.
KEAM 2022 Syllabus
The syllabus of KEAM 2022 will be prescribed by CEE Kerala. The KEAM syllabus 2022 will comprise all three subjects – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. KEAM syllabus will be based on class 11 and 12 examinations.

Below are some tips and tricks that the candidates must follow while preparing for the entrance test.
Time Table:
- A well-organized timetable will help you to cover all the topics and most importantly all the KEAM 2022 syllabus if you are appearing for the exams.

KEAM 2022 Result
The KEAM result will be announced by the CEE Kerala in online mode. Candidates can check the same by logging into their registered accounts. The rank list of KEAM 2022 will be published online after the declaration of results. Details like the name of the candidate, roll number, and rank obtained in the entrance exam will be mentioned on it. Qualified candidates have to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process for admission.
KEAM 2022 Cutoff
The cutoff of KEAM 2022 will be released online after the declaration of rank list. KEAM cut off marks will be published in the form of last rank (category-wise and course-wise). Candidates who will secure more than or equal to the KEAM 2022 cutoffs will be eligible to participate who obtain a score more than or equal to the KEAM cut off.
KEAM 2022 Counselling
CEE Kerala will conduct the counselling of KEAM 2022 in four rounds. Candidates who will qualify for the entrance test will be eligible for the counselling process. The steps involved in KEAM Counselling are registration, selection of preferred colleges and courses, filtering choices, trial seat allotment result, final seat allotment result, seat acceptance fee payment, reporting at the allotted institute and reviewing selections and taking printouts of the choices for future references.

The exam authority mentions the KIIT 2025 exam marking scheme in the official notification. Applicants appearing in the KIITEE exam will be awarded 4 marks for the correct answer. There will be a negative marking of one mark for each incorrect answer. Candidates will be awarded zero marks for unattempted questions. Once applicants have completed answering all questions in KIITEE 2025 exam then they will be directed to first question of the next section. In case applicant want to finish the KIIT exam 2025 before the allotted time, then a confirmation page will appear with two options. Either to go back to the test or to complete the test.
