Coaching institutes have released the memory-based question paper of MHT CET May 10 shift 1 exam. The question paper has been released based on feedback from students who appeared in the exam.

Candidates can use the MHT CET 2024 Question Paper May 10 shift 1 to know the correct responses to the questions asked in the exam and calculate their expected score.

Q:   What type of questions are asked in MHT CET?
A:

There are 150 MCQs asked in MHT CET exam question paper with four options in each question and only one option is correct. Fifty questions are asked from each subject including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. This is an online computer-based test.

Q:   What is Chapterwise weightage of class 11 and 12 topics in MHT CET?
A:

The high-weightage topics from class 11 and 12 Physics as per the previous year paper analysis are Current Electricity, Waves, AC, Magnetism, Laws of Motion, Work, Power and Energy. In Chemistry, the high-weightage topics are s and p block elements, Coordination compounds, Thermodynamics, Gaseous state, Chemical bonding, Atomic structure, Polymers, Environmental Chemistry, Organic chemistry. In Mathematics, the high-weightage topics are Sequence and Series, Vectors and 3D, Integral and Differential Calculus, and Definite and Indefinite Integral.

Q:   Do I need to attempt all the questions in MHT CET exam?
A:

It is not compulsory to attempt all the question in MHT CET exam. Students are advised to attempt only those questions for which  they know the correct answer. Questions for which the answer is not sure should be left. However, as there is NO negative marking in MHT CET exam,  questions for which answer is doubtful can be attempted in last. Students gets All India Rank based on the marks they secure in exam and gets admission based on that rank.

MHT CET May 10 shift 1 paper analysis is also available below on this page. As per the feedback from students, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. The Physics part had more weightage of class 11 topics. Mathematics was difficult while Chemistry was easy.

MHT CET cutoff is of two types- All India Category and Maharashtra Category. The seats which are allotted under the All India Quota have opening and closing ranks mentioned as "AI" whereas seats allotted under Maharashtra Quota have the ranks mentioned as "MH".
