TNEA 2019 (Round 1): Changes in Civil Engineering (CE) Cutoffs
Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2026 ( TNEA )
TNEA cut off is the minimum marks that candidates have to secure to be eligible for admission to BTech courses in the state of Tamil Nadu. Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) Tamil Nadu has released TNEA cutoff ranks for round 1 and 2 along with seat allotment results. Below in this article is the TNEA cutoff comparison (2019 vs 2018) for Civil Engineering course.
In the first round of TNEA cutoffs released for civil engineering, most of the popular colleges witnessed an upward movement in the closing ranks with an average of 8128 ranks as compared to last year.

Institutes like Vivekanandha College of Technology for Women, University College of Engineering, Nagercoil and P A College of Engineering and Technology have witnessed high rise in TNEA cut off with 90314, 88725, 82768 ranks respectively.
Candidates must note that the table lists only those TNEA participating institute where change in ranks have been more than 1000 (+/-).
