VITEEE 2020 result: VIT University has announced the VITEEE 2020 result today i.e. August 5. Candidates aspiring for admission to BTech courses can check their result by logging into the official website using their login credentials.
The exam conducting authority i.e. Vellore Institute of Technology will send the login credentials to candidates on the registered mobile number/email address. The VITEEE results 2020 will be announced for over 1.8 lakh candidates seeking admission to the BTech courses offered by the university.

VIT Chancellor, Dr G Viswanathan, said that admissions would be only on merit, based on the normalised PCM/ PCB marks, JEE/ SAT scores obtained by the candidates while declaring the ranks on 5th of August. These ranks are for admission to the 36 BTech and BDes Programmes offered by VIT at its Vellore, Chennai, AP and Bhopal campuses.

How to check the VITEEE 2020 Result?
Candidates can check the VITEEE result by entering their application number and password. Candidates need to follow the four simple steps given below to check VITEEE Result 2020:
Step-1: Visit the official website of VITEEE i.e. https://viteee.vit.ac.in/ and search for the link named “VITEEE 2020 Result”. Click on the link.
Step-2: After that, candidates will be redirected to a new page. Click on the “VITEEE Result” button to check it.
Step-3: Candidates will have to log in to their account by entering enter their VITEEE 2020 Application number, Date of Birth, and Verification Code.
Step-4: Once a candidate will click the “submit” button, VITEEE 2020 result will be displayed. Download it and take a print out for future references.
Details Present in VITEEE 2020 Result
VITEEE Result 2020 will be displayed online and contain the following details:
Application Number: VITEEE Result will display the registration number of a candidate. This is different from the VITEEE 2020 roll number.
Applicant Name: The name as registered with the online portal will be displayed.
Gender: Gender will indicate if the candidate is male or female.
Date of Birth: It indicates the date format of the date, month and year.
Rank: VITEEE 2020 Result will also display the rank obtained by a candidate.
A total of 1,83,059 candidates from 28 states, 8 union territories and twelve countries (Middle East, Indonesia, Nepal, Nigeria, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, UK and Singapore), have applied for VIT B.Tech. Admissions 2020.
Candidates can view their results through www.vit.ac.in and register for the online counselling process which will begin on 10th August, 2020. Rank based counselling would be held in four phases.

No, the students will not be guaranteed admissions if they meet the VITEEE cutoff. However, they will have higher chances of admission if the cutoff is met. Since other factors will also be considered for admission, the students can check the cutoff for their admission chances.

The VITEEE counselling fee is INR 5,900 (inclusive of GST). During the counselling registration, the students will have to pay the counselling fee online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI. If the fee is not paid, then the students cannot participate in the counselling process.
