WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2022: Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized council/board with individual passing marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/a Technical Vocational Subject (Engineering Drawing/Computer Science)
- Minimum of 45 % marks in case of general category and 40 % marks for SC/ST/PwD/OBC candidates, in the above subjects. A minimum of 30 % marks in English for all categories of candidates
- Candidates seeking admissions in Jadavpur University must score a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics separately in case of general quota and 55% in case of SC/ST/PwD/PBC candidates. He/she must pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates)
- Candidates applying for architectural courses must have cleared 10+2 with individual pass marks in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/a Technical Vocational Subject (Engineering Drawing/Computer Science)
- Candidates applying for architectural courses should also qualify in the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi

Jadavpur University (Faculty of Engineering and Technology)
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with at least 60% (45% for reserved category students) aggregate marks.
- Individual pass marks (in both theory & practical) in each of the subjects mentioned above should have also been secured and at least 30% marks in English.
University of Calcutta
For all available courses except Jute and Fibre Technology
- Should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized Council or Board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with at least 60% (55% for reserved category students) aggregate marks.
- Candidates should have also scored individual passing marks in the above mentioned subjects along with vernacular first language, second language, EVS and minimum 30% marks in English.
For Jute and Fibre Technology
- Candidates should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board and council with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology as compulsory subjects with at least 60% (50% for reserved category students) aggregate marks.
- Should have also passed in vernacular first language, second language, EVS and scored 30% marks in English.
West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences
- Should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent examination) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and also passed individually in these subjects in regular class mode.
- General category candidates should have secured at least 50% (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English taken together.

For B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering & Robotic Engineering
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Computer Science as compulsory subjects with at least 60% aggregate marks.
For Other BTech Courses
- Should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with 60% aggregate marks.
For Marine Engineering
- Candidates should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 60% aggregate marks.

WBJEE cutoff will vary for the different colleges, courses and categories. Reserved category students are expected to have a lower cutoff than General students. Likewise, popular colleges and courses will have higher cutoffs due to the number of students applying for admission.
