WBJEE 2025 counselling registration has started. During the WBJEE counselling process, the candidates have to select their preferred colleges and courses for allotment. Shiksha conducted an online poll, where the majority of the students chose Jadavpur University as their most preferred institute under WBJEE 2025 admissions. WBJEE 2025 Counselling: Majority of students choose Jadavpur as their preferred college
As the WBJEE counselling 2025 has commenced, the students should concentrate on picking out their preferred colleges. Since their selection in the WBJEE 2025 counselling choice filling process is crucial, the students should check their list of preferences carefully.
As per the online poll conducted by Shiksha, 47% of the students are aiming for admission into the BTech courses offered by Jadavpur University. The second most preferred college is Heritage Institute of Technology, with 21% students voting for it. 14% of the students have selected MAKAUT as the college aimed for WBJEE counselling. While 11% students have selected other colleges, 7% students have chosen Narula Institute of Technology as the preferred institute.

Candidates can follow the given steps to be registered for WBJEE counselling 2025.

- Click on the registration lnk.
- Students will have to log in with their their roll number and password.
- Next, they have to fill out the required information.
- The preferred colleges and courses has to be selected in order of preference.
- The counselling fee of INR 500 has to be paid through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of fee payment will be accepted.
Steps to check WBJEE 2025 seat allotment
The second round of WBJEE counselling is held to upgrade the registered candidates or freshly allot the ones who were not allotted in the first round. Only these candidates will be able to participate in the second counselling round, since fresh registrations will not be accepted.
Yes, there a self-financing institutes included in the WBJEE counselling process. In the self-financing institutes, the 10% approved seats will be open for JEE Main qualified candidates. These students do not require WBJEE scores for admission.

What after WBJEE 2025 seat allotment?
Satisfied students must confirm the admission before the final date. Then pay the provisional admission fee. After that you need to report to the allotted institute with all necessary document.

WBJEEB conducts the WBJEE counselling process online. All qualified candidates have to register for the counselling and fill out their choice of colleges and courses. The counselling fee also has to be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No offline counselling will be held.
During second round of WBJEE counselling, candidates can go back to their previous allotment, if they are not allotted in their higher preference. If they are allotted higher preference, then their previous seat will be automatically cancelled.
During WBJEE counselling, the students who want to withdraw their admission have to complete it before the last date. If the withdrawal is not done on time, then they will not be able to get refund of the seat acceptance fee.

No, WBJEE is held as an annual exam. WBJEEB will conduct WBJEE as a one day examination consisting of two papers, Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry).

According to WBJEE domicile requirement, students should have been staying in West Bengal continously for atleast 10 years, as of admission year. If not, then their parents should be permanent residents of state.

Adamas University BTech cutoff mark is determined based on WBJEE score. In 2025, the round 2 closing rank for BTech CSE was 1222506. For the BTech in Biotechnology course, the closing rank was 1251488. The given cutoff information is for the candidates belonging to general All-India category.
