  • Light and comfortable clothes such as Tshirts and Trousers/Pants
  • Basic slippers or sandals
  • Women can opt to wear plain kurtis or simple salwar suits with dupattas
  • All clothes should be plain and lightly layered so frisking can be done
  • Jacket, hoodies and heavily layered clothes should be avoided.
  • Clothes with large pockets
  • Shoes, heavy boots or high heels
  • Heavy jewellery or watches
  • Hair accessories such as clips or caps
  • Scarves or shrugs

Candidates can check list of prohibited items at WBJEE exam centres 2026. If candidates are found with these items at centre, then they will not be allowed to enter to attempt exam.

If you belong to the OBC, SC, ST, EWS or PWD HS category, then yes, you can get a seat at KGEC with a rank of 600 in the WBJEE entrance examination.
