Before choosing photograph to be uploaded in WBJEE 2026 application form, candidates should know some important guidelines given below. Since application process is over, the guidelines can be checked for reference.

  • Photograph should be recent and coloured. A white background is preferred.
  • In photograph, candidate’s face should be visible clearly. They have to face camera directly and the head should be in centre of frame. Since same photograph will be used in WBJEE admit card for identity verification, it should be clear.
  • Candidates should make sure that their hair does not fall over their face.
  • Photograph should be scanned using websites or applications available online. They can also adjust their photograph size using these tools to upload it correctly in application form.

How to Upload Documents during WBJEE 2026 Registration

WBJEE application form 2026 was released at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. Candidates could follow important steps given below to upload documents in application form. Since applications are over, they can check the steps for reference purpose.

  • Go to wbjeeb.nic.in
  • Click on application form link.
  • Candidates had to register and fill out details.
  • After all details were filled, candidates had to upload documents by selecting saved documents in system.
  • Correct documents had to be uploaded and saved.
  • WBJEE 2026 application fee had to be paid and form has to be submitted.

What is the WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2026?

Before registration, candidates were advised to check official WBJEE eligibility criteria to understand what requirements need to be fulfilled for admissions into the participating colleges of the state.

  • Should be an Indian national. Domicile requirement is also needed for admissions into majority of the seats.
  • Candidates should be minimum 17 years old. There is no maximum age limit. However, for Marine Engineering, the maximum age limit is 25 years.
  • Should have passed 12th standard (or equivalent) qualifying exam with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Computer Application/Technical Vocational Subject.
  • Candidates should have scored 45% marks in the three subjects mentioned above. For reserved category candidates, the minimum marks to be secured is 40%.
  • Candidates should have also passed English with minimum 30% marks.

Q:   What is the WBJEE application fee?
A: 

While filling out WBJEE application form, candidates need to pay fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted by authorities. WBJEE application fee is INR 500 for General Male Candidates), INR 400 (for general female and SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW Male Candidates) and INR 300 (for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW female candidates and Third Gender General Candidates). For SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW Third Gender category candidates, the application fee is INR 200. If candidates does not pay application fee, their applications will be rejected by authorities.

What to keep ready for WBJEE application form 2026?

Before filling WBJEE application form, candidates had to keep following documents and information ready for reference. This helped them to complete registration quickly and correctly. By referring to these documents and information, candidates could make sure that their details were filled according to their documents. These documents will be required until end of WBJEE 2026 counselling.
