The National Testing Agency has completed conducting GAT-B examination. Now, the authorities is all set to declare result and merit list. Candidates can check the detailed process to check GAT-B and BET exam result 2026 below -

• Go to official website of GAT-B 2026 - (https://exams.nta.nic.in/gat-bet/)
• Then go to the notification section, and select the result link 
• Now, enter login credentials - application number and password\
• Check all details listed in the GAT-B scorecard. 

Rank card is valid for one year only. Qualified candidates were eligible for GAT-B counselling for admission. It must be noted that there will be no re-evaluation or re-checking of result.

Candidates are advised to check all particulars correctly to avoid cancellation of candidature. 

After the declaration of GAT-B result 2026, the authorities will publish category-wise cutoff marks, along with merit list of qualified candidates. Students whose name is on GAT-B merit list, will be eligible for the counselling. Interested students must keep their personal and educational documents ready before the start of counselling process. Overall, the selection and admission is subjected to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in merit list, medical fitness, original document verification.  

The evaluation and preparation of the rank list is done based on GAT-B 2026 exam pattern. The result and merit list will be declared as per final answer key data. As per marking scheme, each correct response carries 3 marks. For incorrect answer, -1 mark is deducted for incorrect response. 

• If a question for any reason is found to be wrong, then benefit of marks will be given to those who have attempted that particular question. 
• While checking for challenges, if it is found that along with answer key if there is one more option correct, then marks will be awarded to those candidates who have opted any one of the option. 

National Testing Agency will release GAT-B and BET merit list on its official website. Candidates who have qualified can access the rank list. GAT-B merit list is prepared based on marks and rank of all students who appeared the entrance exam. Students whose name is on the merit list, will be eligible for admission and counselling process.
