The KCET 2026 Physics paper was moderate to difficult and heavily conceptual. There was a strong emphasis on theory over numerical problems. It was tougher than last year, with approximately 75% from Second PUC and 25% from First PUC syllabus. Contrary to previous years, there were fewer, long-form calculations and more reliance on deep, conceptual, and theoretical understanding. Questions were from Mechanics, Electrodynamics (Current Electricity & Magnetism), Modern Physics, and Optics. Due to the difficulty, overall cutoffs in Physics might be affected, say.
