JCECE BSc Nursing 2026: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, JCECEB, will soon release the information bulletin for the JCECE 2026. Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for JCECE exam?

Applicants who want to fill out the application form for JCECE BSc Nursing are advised to check the eligibility criteria first. According to the age-wise qualification, applicants must be 17 years old on December 31, 2026. While students need to pass class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) & English as a core subject with an aggregate of 45% marks. 

Q:   Is JCECE nursing an online or offline exam?

The JCECE nursing is an offline exam, which means that candidates will be given an OMR-sheet to fill in the answers. It will be a pen and paper based exam for which there will be instructions to follow at the test centre. 

Q:   When will JCECE B.Sc Nursing exam be conducted?
A: 

The authorities will schedule the JCECE BSc Nursing 2026 exam in offline mode across the various exam centres in the state. The JCECE BSc Nursing exam will be conducted in the morning slot from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Who is Eligible for JCECE 2026?

JCECE BSc Nursing 2026 exam is the gateway for admission to BSc Nursing and BSc Post Nursing programmes and both courses have different eligibility criteria. Have a look at the JCECE eligibility for BSc Nursing and Post-Basic Nursing courses below-

JCECE Eligibility for BSc Nursing Course 

  • Candidates should be Class 12 passed or appearing with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects with English Core/ English Elective and 45 per cent aggregate marks from a recognized board such as AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE/ HSCE or equivalent.
  • Candidates should be medically fit.
  • The minimum JCECE age limit is 17 years.

JCECE Eligibility for BSc Post-Basic Nursing Course 

  • Candidates should have passed Class 12 Senior Secondary or Intermediate or an equivalent examination on a recognised board.
  • Those who passed Class 11 in or before 1986 are also eligible for admission.
  • Candidates must have a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and should be a Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM) with the State Nursing Council.
  • Candidates should have Domicile certificate of Jharkhand.
  • The maximum age of the aspirants should be 35 years (45 years in the case of a regular employee of State Government).

Candidates with some medical conditions can carry a transparent water bottle to the JCECE BSc Nursing test centre. However, prior permission must be taken from the authorities at the centre. If they don't allow for the same, it must not be taken to the exam hall. 

Q:   Who decides the list of test cities for the JCECE nursing entrance?
A: 

The JCECE nursing test cities are decided by the conducting body, JCECEB. They release this list in the official prospectus every year for the aspirants. The cities are replaced also sometimes, and some new names get added, and older ones are dropped.

JCECE BSc Nursing Admit Card 2026

JCECE BSc Nursing admit card will be issued by the conducting body JCECEB in July, 2026. The JCECEC BSc Nursing 2026 admit card will be issued to those applicants whose application forms have been accepted by the JCECEB. 

To download it, applicants should visit the official website of JCECEB and log in using their application number and password. No Candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre on the day of the examination without having a valid ID card. JCECEB will not send the admit card to any applicant via the post. Applicants can download the admit card in a PDF file and can take a printout of the same. After taking the printout out candidates have to paste their valid photograph on the admit card in the box provided and have to self-attest it as well.

Applicants will have to carry a hard copy of the JCECE BSc Nursing admit card 2026. Entry to the examination hall will be allowed only with the JCECE nursing admit card. It will be mandatory to reach the exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the examination to avoid any hassle. The JCECE BSc Nursing admit card carries important information regarding the exam centre venue printed on it. Important Instructions to be followed on the exam day will be mentioned on the admit card.
