The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023 has been conducted today, on December 18, 2022, from 2 pm to 4 pm. More than 50,000 candidates registered to appear for CLAT 2022 in order to take admission in five-year Integrated LLB course and LLM courses offered at 22 NLUs in India. Viaan Sharma, a test taker at Noida test centre shared that CLAT UG 2023 was a moderate paper as there were no difficult questions, except for Quantitative Techniques. He added that General Knowledge section had some difficult questions as compared to AILET 2023 GK. He shared that Legal Reasoning, English, and Logical Reasoning section were easy. The expected cutoff for CLAT UG 2023 according to him will be around 100.

Akash took CLAT PG 2023 paper for LLM admissions, and he shared that that question paper was easy. There were no difficult questions, and he could attempt maximum questions within the given time.
Another candidate who took CLAT UG 2023 shared that the paper was easy this year, and as compared to AILET 2023 it was a better question paper. He shared that there were no unexpected questions including Current Affairs (based on FIFA, Worldcup).

- Static GK is also a part of the syllabus, but most of the questions are asked on the basis of the current affairs
- Try and read about various legal events and issues of the past
- Prepare your own notes. This will help you during your revision time
- Do not cram events. Try and understand why something happened and idea behind it
- Refer to as many Magazines, Newspapers, E-Newspapers, Blogs, etc., possible to be more aware of all the happenings worldwide
- Must watch news channels for at least 45 minutes to 1 hour per day
Khyati Kaushik shared that the question paper of CLAT UG 2023 was of moderate level but easier than AILET UG 2023. The paper was comprehensive and on the pattern of CLAT 2023 only.

CLAT 2023 Answer Key
The exam authority will publish the answer key for CLAT 2023 around 6 - 8 pm today itself. Candidates will be able to download the answer key from the official website - https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/. Candidates will be able to use CLAT 2023 answer key to cross-check their responses, as well as raise objections on it. The exam authority will enable a window to raise objections for CLAT 2023 provisional answer key, where candidates can report wrong questions or options. The last date of sending objections on CLAT 2023 answer key will be December 19, 2022, till 3:30 pm. The exam authority will then review all the objections as recieved, and publish a revised answer key on December 24, 2023. The results of CLAT 2023 will be declared around the same time.

No, CLAT is not compulsory to take admission in Ishaan Institute of Law. The institute offers admission into the courses such as LLB, BA LLB and LLM based on the merit achieved by the candidates in their last qualifying exam. Application process is compulsory and it can be conducted online/offline.

Based on recent CLAT analyses, the English Language and General Knowledge & Current Affairs sections were rated as the easiest. English is more about reading comprehension with direct questions. GK is highly scoring for those with consistent, up-to-date daily news preparation.
