CLAT 2027: The Consortium of National Law Universities conducts the CLAT Entrance Exam 2027. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam must complete the CLAT Registration Process 2027 on or before the last date. The CLAT Exam will be held for admission to 25 NLUs in the country.

Just filling out the CLAT Application Form is not enough. Filling it correctly with all relevant documents, such as passport-size photographs and signatures is a must. The Consortium also has the right to cancel the application form if there is any wrong information or documents mentioned. Out of all the documents, the mandatory one is the CLAT photograph. Guidelines Regarding Postcard Size Photo for CLAT 2027

  • A recent colour photograph with name and date.
  • The background must be either white colour or light colour.
  • The face of the individual must be clear and visible.
  • The image should be professional-looking.
  • There should not be red-eye in the photo.
  • If you wear glasses, ensure that there are no reflections.
  • The image should be uploaded in JPEG format.

Q:   What are the dos and don'ts for CLAT exam day?
A: 
 On CLAT exam day, candidates have to follow a number of guidelines like cooperating with the exam centre staff during identification process, etc.:

CLAT exam day dos:

  1. Reach examination centre at the reporting time mentioned on your CLAT admit card.
  2. Carry two copies of the CLAT admit card, one photo ID card, passport size photos
  3. PwD candidates should carry relevant certificates and documents. 
  4. Carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing attendance sheet 

CLAT exam day don'ts:

  1. Do not carry items such as bags, purses, pencil box, beepers, wrist watch, calculators, mobile phones, electronic devices, scanners, cameras, wireless/Bluetooth transmission or any such communication devices.
  2. Don't wear closed shoes, jewellery made of metal, jackets, clothes with pockets, mehendi on palms. Socks are allowed inside it.
  3. Don't wear caps, hoodies or jackets/shirts with pockets 
  4. Don't be late for exam. Entry gates will be closed 15 minutes before the commencement of exam. 
Q:   How will I know if I am eligible to appear in CLAT exam or not?
A: 

In order to know if you are eligible or not check the official notification and the eligibility criteria. There is no other way to check the the eligibility criteria.  Do not fill the form without checking the eligibility criteria. 

Q:   When CLAT Application Correction Window 2027 will open?
A: 

The Consortium will open the correction window once the registration process is over. Candidates must note that this is their last chance to edit their already submitted CLAT application form. 

Q:   What is the difficulty level of CLAT Exam?

The difficulty level of CLAT 2027 is considered to be moderate. The exam is conducted to assess candidates' ability to think critically and solve problems. There will be five sections.

Guidelines for Uploading CLAT Signature 

Before filling up the CLAT exam 2027, candidates are advised to look the eligibility criteria for CLAT. Candidates can follow the simple guidelines given below:

  • Candidate must sign on the white paper with a Black Ink pen.
  • A signature should be done by the candidate and not by any other person.
  • Use small letters and a flow of running hand.
  • The signature on the CLAT Admit Card and the attendance sheet on the CLAT.
  • Exam Day should match the signature uploaded in the online form.

Before beginning the CLAT application process 2027, candidates must keep the following items ready:

  • A working email ID.
  • Mobile number.
  • Class 10 & 12 mark sheets.
  • ID and address proof.
  • Scanned photograph.
  • Scanned signature.
  • Category certificate.

No, CLAT is not compulsory to take admission in Ishaan Institute of Law. The institute offers admission into the courses such as LLB, BA LLB and LLM based on the merit achieved by the candidates in their last qualifying exam. Application process is compulsory and it can be conducted online/offline.
