CLAT 2027 Photo and Signature Specifications: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) is the application processing and exam conducting body for CLAT 2027. It prescribes the instructions to fill the CLAT application form and pay the fee as prescribed in the instructions. The Consortium also provides the size of the photograph and signature to be uploaded with the CLAT form.

Guidelines Regarding Postcard Size Photo for CLAT 2027
The consortium releases guidelines regarding photo upload. Let us take a look at the details here
- A recent colour photograph with name and date.
- The background must be either white or light colour.
- The face of the individual must be clear and visible.
- The image should be professional-looking.
- There should not be red-eye in the photo.
- If you wear glasses, ensure that there are no reflections.
- The image should be uploaded in JPEG format.

The difficulty level of CLAT 2027 is considered to be moderate. The exam is conducted to assess candidates' ability to think critically and solve problems. There will be five sections.
Solving mock test helps candidates to understand the exam pattern and also the sections they are lagging behind. With this they can rework on those section where they are scoring low. CLAT mock test also helps candidates to understand the time based prepration to solve the question paper on exam day.
Guidelines for Uploading CLAT Signature
Before filling out the application for the CLAT exam 2027, candidates are advised to check eligibility criteria for CLAT. They can follow the guidelines given below
- Candidates must sign on white paper with a black ink pen.
- A signature should be made by the candidate and not by any other person.
- Use small letters in the signature after a capital first letter
- Candidates must do their signature with their running hand.
- Signature on CLAT Admit Card and attendance sheet should match.
- Exam Day signature should also match the signature uploaded in the online form.
- Consortium allows a maximum signature size of 100 KB. However, candidates are recommended to keep CLAT signature in 10–20 KB size range.
- The recommended dimensions of CLAT signature should be approximately 140 × 60 pixels
- Students need to upload the signature in jpg / jpeg format.
- Candidates must ensure their signature on academic and personal documents is similar to the signature used in the CLAT exam process.

Candidates can make unlimited changes to their CLAT photo and signature before the final submission. Students can modify these documents from their dashboard. After CLAT form is submitted, uploads can be changed only during the application correction window. The Consortium activates the correction window after CLAT registration closes. CLAT application fee is not refunded if a form is rejected for non-compliant documents. Candidates need to submit a fresh application (with fresh payment) in such cases. It is therefore recommended to complete CLAT exam registration early so that you get ample time to fix mistakes.
