SLAT 2026: Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU) has released the notification about the SLAT 2026 exam on its official website – slat-test.org. Candidates can register for the Symbiosis Law Admission Test 2026 from Augsut 01, 2025 and the last date to register is November 30, 2025. The SLAT exam will be held on two dates, December 20, 2025 and December 28, 2025 at the designated centres across the country.
SLAT 2026 notification comprises of the eligibility criteria, application process, exam date, exam centers, admit card release date, seat intake, etc. SLAT 2026 will be conducted in online mode in two phases for admission to BA LLB (Hons.), BBA LLB (Hons.), BA LLB, and BBA LLB courses offered by SLSs. SLAT 2026 will be accepted by Symbiosis Law School, Pune, Noida, Hyderabad, and Nagpur. The first step before applying for the SLAT 2026 exam is to fall within its eligibility criteria.

Symbiosis Law Schools (SLSs)
Through SLAT, SUI provides admission to BA LLB, BBA LLB, BA LLB (Hons), and BBA LLB (Hons) courses offered by the following SLSs:
SLAT does not happen twice a year, but it takes place on two dates in the same session. Candidates have the option to appear in either or both. The best attempt from the two will be considered to prepare the merit list. SLAT 2026 exam will be held on:

SLAT 2026 Application Form
SIU has started accepting the application forms for the SLAT 2026 entrance exam through its official website. Candidates can apply for one or both the phases of SLAT exam. Keep a track on this page for the latest updates on the SLAT 2026 exam.
How to Register for the SLAT 2026 exam?
The SLAT 2023's Reading Comprehension section was the simplest. In the Reading Comprehension section of the SLAT 2023, questions related to articles from newspapers like "The Hindu" and "Times of India" were asked. Candidates were required to apply their knowledge of sentence structure and vocabulary of the English language to solve questions related to the Reading Comprehension section of SLAT 2023. Thus, the knowledge of English Grammar and vocabulary helped them to perform well to solve the section.
The Symbiosis Law Admission Test Authority has made a change in the weightage of SLAT entrance exam scores in recent years. As per the new pattern, there will be 60 questions for the SLAT question paper from five different sections: Logical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and General Knowledge. Each question carries one mark. This means the total marks for SLAT should be 60. However, the entrance test authority scaled down the 60 marks of the SLAT exam to 50. Thus, as per the new exam pattern, the new weightage for the SLAT exam is 50. The rest of the 50 weightage scores for the exam are taken from the SLAT Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interaction (PI). The weightage of SLAT WAT is 20. However, the weightage of PI is 30.
Candidates may follow the steps given below to apply for the SLAT 2026 exam, once the notification is out:
- Visit the official website: slat-test.org
- Click on the SLAT 2026 Registration Link
- On the new page, enter the details asked, including name, EmailID, Mobile Number, and preferred test date, test city, etc.
- Save and submit the details entered.
- A new page will open up, enter the OTP sent to your mobile number or email id and submit
- After successful registration, you will get an email & SMS containing your SLAT ID and password.
- Pay the SLAT entrance test registration fee of INR 2250 per test, in addition to that, you are also expected to pay the non-refundable and non-transferable programme registration fee of INR 1000.

SLAT 2026 Application Fee
There will be two types of fees to be paid for SLAT 2026 - registration fee and the SLAT 2026 institute fee. The SLAT institute fee is the fee that you need to pay for applying for admission to one SLS or more SLSs. SLAT 2026 Admit Card
The SIU will release the admit card for SLAT 2026 online at slat-test.org on December 11, 2025 and December 18, 2025. Candidates who will successfully complete their SLAT 2026 application process will be issued their admit card. The admit card will mention details like the name, roll number, date and time, and exam centre.

- Enter SLAT 2026 registered mobile number and password

SLAT 2026 Counselling
SLAT 2026 will be conducted in two modes – written ability test and personal interview. SLAT written test will have 70% weightage in the selection process followed by the Personal Interaction session having weightage of 30%. SIU will release the SLAT 2026 merit list on its official website based on the SLAT 2026 written test scores. SLAT counselling 2026 will be conducted in the following steps:
- Candidates who will pass the SLAT written test will have their names on the provisional merit list
- Successful candidates will be required to upload their educational documents and ID proofs on the official website and appear in the personal interview in their respective opted SLS
- Downloading the call letter for the SLAT Personal Interview.
- Appear in the PI round on the due date
SLAT 2026 Cutoff
SLAT cut off is the minimum score that lets the aspirants get admission in different colleges accepting SLAT scores/ranks. SIU will release the cutoff of SLAT on its official website after successful completion of SLAT 2026 exam. SLAT Cutoff 2026 will be determined based on below given parameters:
- Difficulty level of question paper
