The Consortium of NLUs is likely to release the CLAT Notification 2027 anytime soon. Candidates looking forward to appearing in CLAT Exam 2027 must note that the official notice will carry all important details about the CLAT Exam. CLAT Exam Date 2027 is expected to be December 6, 2026. The CLAT 2027 Syllabus will also be published along with the CLAT Notification.

Candidates who will be appearing for CLAT Exam must start preparing for the exam. The CLAT Syllabus 2027 includes five subjects: English Language, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs including GK, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques. As per the CLAT Exam Pattern 2027, there will be negative marking in the exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.  Candidates can download the CLAT Syllabus PDF online. CLAT Syllabus 2027 - Overview

  • Why the exam is conducted - Comprehension and reasoning skills and abilities of the candidate.
  • Do I need to have legal subject knowledge- The CLAT Exam will test whether the candidate has the aptitude and skills required for legal education, rather than test his knowledge of legal subjects. That being said, prior knowledge may be useful for answering questions in the Current Affairs section.

While it is not impossible, it is a really challenging task. To score well, you must start preparing for CLAT at least six months before. It is very important to score well if you are looking forward to getting into good NLU. For top 10 NLU, you at least need to score between 100 to 105 as per past trends.
