ALNAT 2026: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

ALNAT eligibility criteria is a set of requirements as mentioned by Altera Institute which includes:

• Candidate must hold a graduation degree from a recognised university or institute
• They must have secured at least 50% aggregate in graduation or equivalent CGPA
• A valid ALNAT, CAT, XAT, NMAT or GMAT score

Altera National Aptitude Test is an entrance examination conducted by Altera Institute of Management which assesses candidate's aptitude and academic potential. The ALNAT exam evaluates a candidate's proficiency in areas such as Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and General Knowledge, depending on the programme for which they are applying.

ALNAT exam is conducted online with a duration of 120 minutes. It consists of multiple choice questions (MCQs) divided into sections such as Reading Comprehension Skills, Critical Reasoning, Quantitative Acumen, and Business Intelligence. The total number of questions are 70. Each question carries a specific number of marks, and there may be negative marking for incorrect answers. The exam is conducted in English. 

Candidates can apply for the ALNAT exam by filling the ALNAT application form 2026 on the Altera Institute website. The application form will be available online. Candidates can fill details such as name, date of birth, gender, academic details such as percentile, Class 10 and Class 12 marks, etc., and upload the required documents. To complete the ALNAT application process, candidates need to pay the application fee, through a credit/debit cards or net banking. 

Altera  Institute wants to enable the best students to have the opportunity to join the program. Once students pass the interview round with a mentor, selected students will be automatically eligible for scholarships upto 30% of the fees.

Candidates can prepare for the ALNAT exam by covering the ALNAT syllabus which includes Criticial Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Acumen, and General Knowledge. They can divide their study plan by incorporating the important topics and of all these sections and then understanding the ALNAT exam pattern. Yes. candidates who are awaiting their undergraduate degree result are eligible to apply for the ALNAT entrance examination. However, once the applicants get selected after qualifying the ALNAT entrance examination they will have to provide their qualification mark sheet or degree certificate to the Registrar, ideally within the first week of commencement of classes. If they fail to do so, their candidature will be rejected and they might fail to secure the seat. 

Yes, international students can apply for ALNAT, provided they meet the eligibility criteria for the course they are applying for. They may also need to submit additional documentation, such as proof of their educational qualifications and visa status.
