CAT result was announced by IIM Kozhikode on January 4, 2020 at 12:00 PM. Candidates who have appeared for CAT exam 2019 can check their results on the official website and download their CAT score card using their user ID and password. Similar to last year's trends, this year too, most of the students who scored the maximum in the CAT exam are from engineering or technical background.
This year, there were ten CAT 2019 toppers who scored 100 percentile and they are all males and belong to engineering or technical background. Six applicants among these are from IITs, two from NITs and one from Jadhavpur University and one candidate is from another university. 21 candidates scored an overall 99.99 percentile. Four of the 100 percentilers belong to the state of Maharashtra and the rest are from states like Jharkhand, Telengana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Uttarakhand.

Rahul Manglik and Somansh Chordia are two friends from IIT Bombay, who made it to the top scorers of CAT 2019 exam. Rahul belongs to Delhi and bagged a score of 99.99 percentile and Somansh scored 100 percentile and hails from Nagpur. Somansh is targetting one of the top B-schools of India, IIM Ahmedabad.
60 students who made it to the 99 percentilers club are from the state of Gujarat among which 40 belong to Ahmedabad, six from Gandhinagar, three from Rajkot, six from Vadodara and five from Surat. This year, the Tricity, Chandigarh, was also one of the cities which gave a good number of CAT 2019 toppers. Among 7,500 CAT applicants from Chandigarh, 15 made an entry into the 99 percentilers' club.
This year saw the largest number of CAT aspirants. Below is the list of CAT 2019 applicants who scored between 99 percentile to 100 percentile.

No the Sai University CAT exam is not compulsory for admission to BA courses. Students who have valid marks in other national level exams can also apply. The university considers exams such as CUET/ SAT India/ ACT, etc. Moreover, students can take admission based on merit also.

Yes, students can take admissions to BITS Law School without appearing from CLAT exam. BITS Law School admissions also conducts its own entrance exam called BITS Law Admission Test. Shortlisted candidates need to appear for Personal Interview rounds for admissions.

VGIM Cutoff 2025 is not available yet. However, according to the VGIM MBA/PGDM cutoff 2024, the overall MAT percentile required for admission to PGDM course is 70 for the students belonging to the General AI category

No, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar has not mentioned that it accepts CAT score for MBA admissions on their portals. Candidates are instead required to appear for an in-house entrance exam that is conducted by GNDU itself.

Yes, IBSAT exam is comparatively easier than CAT in terms of syllabus difficulty level and competition. CAT question paper requires high anlaytical solving skills to score well in exam, whereas IBSAT exam assesses candidate's speed and accuracy. The difficulty level of IBSAT exam is moderate.

Yes, COEP, Pune does accept CAT score to admit candidates for MBA admissions. During CAP rounds, if candidates have a valid score in CAT, they will be chosen based on those scores only. Thus, such candidates are not required to reappear for MAH-CET.
