Both of these topics have different kinds of questions that need adequate and intensive practice. However, if the previous year's trends are to be considered, scoring above 90 to 100 marks out of a total of 200 is considered a good score in TSICET. Candidates must note that the cutoff score for TSICET varies for different colleges and universities. Additionally, a good score can vary across categories. Candidates with a good TSICET score and a good academic record are likely to have better chances of securing admission to top MBA and MCA colleges in Telangana.

Q:   Which section of the TG ICET exam is the toughest?
A:

In the Telangana ICET exam, the Mathematical Ability section is usually considered the toughest among all three sections. This section typically includes the questions that are not only conceptually challenging but are time consuming. With TS ICET exam being a time sensitive exam having less than 1 minute for each question, solving Mathematical Ability section becomes difficult. The time management typically raises the difficulty bar for the Mathematical Ability section.

The difficulty level of a section can also vary for individuals based on their preparation and conceptual understanding of a concept. A candidate may find Communication Ability to be difficult, if he/she doesn't have a good hold on the language.

The section actually tests the ability of the test takers to utilize their analytical skills in understanding the questions from various topics as well as in identification of right answer from the available options. Thus, it is important to practice sample papers and check the pattern of questions in this section.

The section also requires the test takers to utilize the power of mental calculation and this comes only when students know the different mathematical formulas and theorems by heart.
