The State CET Cell announced the MAH MBA CET CAP 2026 registration dates on July 2 and started the application process on the same day. The last date to register for CAP 2026 was July 12 but was extended until July 16. It has been further extended to July 19. The last date of document verification is July 20. Candidates from Maharashtra can apply for admission to MBA/MMS courses to state affiliated colleges and universities basis MAH CET 2026 score. They can choose from over 350 institutes which include private, government and government aided. Candidates from outside Maharashtra can register through CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA scores.
The seat allotment round of CAP 2026 will begin from August 2 with the release of provisional merit list of first CAP round 2026.
MAH MBA CET 2026 exam was held in 2 phases and candidates were given two attempts. The first attempt was held on April 6, 7 and 8 and second attempt was held on May 9. What is MAH MBA CAP 2026?
MAH MBA CAP is a common counselling process conducted for admission to MBA/MMS courses offered by colleges and universities in Maharashtra. Officially called, Centralised Admission Process (CAP), it is conducted in multiple rounds. Seats are allotted to candidate on the basis of their category, MAH CET score and choice of college. Candidates have to register for the CAP round, fill the choice filling form and finalise admission upon seat allotment. Candidates can select from minimum 1 to maximum 300 colleges for seat allotment.

Who Can Apply for MAH MBA CAP 2026?
Any candidate who has scored more than 0 in MBA CET 2026 is eligible to apply for the CAP round. Candidates belonging to All India category can apply with other MBA entrance exam score too. Check below the MAH CET CAP eligibility criteria, category wise.

How to Register for MAH MBA CET CAP 2026?
MAH MBA CAP 2026 registration form is available at the official website and will have to be submitted in online mode only. Check below the process to register for MAH CET CAP 2026.
- Visit the official website of MAH MBA CET CAP 2026
- Click on 'new candidate registration/registered candidate login'
- Enter name, country, state, email ID, phone number and a password
- A unique ID (application ID) will be generated and sent in email
- Authenticate registration and log into the portal to fill the MAH MBA CET CAP form 2026
- Enter personal and academic details, mention MAH CET score and select colleges
- Upload scanned copies of required documents (passport size photo and signature in recommended dimension)
- Take the printout of the duly filled application form and send it by speed/registered post or visit the Facilitation Centre for verification of documents and confirmation of application submission
MAH CET CAP Fee 2026
Candidates applying under All India category and with XAT, CAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA scores, and not MAH CET score, will have to pay CAP registration fee, while filling up the form. Once the CAP application form is verified by the competent authority, the candidates will receive a fee acknowledgement slip.

MAH MBA CET CAP Round 2026: Process
The CAP 2026 process will include four main steps – online registration, announcement of merit list, announcement of final merit list and seat acceptance.
1. MBA CAP 2026 registration and document verification
MAH CET 2026 qualifying candidates will have to fill the CAP form at the official website and get documents verified through e-scrutiny and designated physical scrutiny centres. The admission cell will assess each applicant’s candidature basis his or her application form.
2: Announcement of provisional merit list
The provisional merit list of selected candidates and MBA CET cut offs will be announced round wise. Candidates will have to submit their grievances (if any) along with required documents at the same Facilitation Centre.
3. Announcement of MAH CET final merit list
Final merit list will be announced for every CAP round indicating availability of seats. Candidates who will make it to the final merit list, will have to accepted the seat or wait for next round. Those who will get a seat, but not in their desired college, can use freeze’ option for admission acceptance and wait for the next round, if they think they are likely to get the college of their choice.
4. Seat Acceptance
Those who have been allotted a seat and accepted the admission offer under the MBA CAP 2026, will be required to report at the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) for verification of documents and confirmation of admission. They will then have to visit the allotted college to complete the admission process.

Candidates can submit the MAH MBA CET application fee before the last date of form submission. It is not mandatory to pay the fees at the time of exam registration. They can register for the exam on a particular day and complete the form filling process or fee payment on another day, however, all the activities have to be completed within the deadline otherwise the form will not be accepted.
Until the exam fee is paid, the application form submission will remain incomplete. Thus, candidates must ensure that they pay the fee on time and check the acknowledgement slip generated upon successful fee payment. In case the acknowledgement is not received within 24 hour of form submission, candidates must reach out to MAH MBA CET exam helpdesk to check the status.
No, the digital copy of MBA CET admit card will not be acceptable as a valid ID proof. The admit card of every candidate is to be checked manually by the test centre staff and the invigilator. It is to be signed and stamped by the authorities. One signed and stamped copy is submitted at the exam centre and one copy is to be retained by the student. Thus, the digital copy of the admit card is not accepted.
Candidates need to carry two print outs of their admit card to the MAH CET test centre, in A4 size sheet. Candidates must affix a recent passport size photo on the admit card (preferably the one uploaded with the application form).
Candidates not carrying the hard copy of their MAH CET admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam under any circumstances.
Every candidate will be required to carry two copies of the MAH MBA CET admit card. Along with the admit card copies, candidates will have to carry the original copy of a valid identity proof, which can be any of the following:
- College University ID card
- Aadhaar card
- PAN card
- Voter ID card
- Passport
Candidates can also show at the exam centre, a photo identity proof issued by a gazetted officer on official letterhead along with photograph or a photo identity proof issued by a people's representative on official letterhead along with photograph. Ration Card & Learning Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof.
The MAH MBA CET application form is not released offline. Candidates have to fill the online application form only. There is no provision of submitting the application form offline either. Aspirants, who wish to apply for the exam, need to access a computer or laptop with high-speed internet to fill the MAH MBA CET application form. The process of fee payment is also online. After filling the application form, candidates have to make the fee payment via debit card, credit card, net banking or e-wallets to complete the registration process of the MBA CET. Candidates can fill the form from any location. All they need to keep in mind is that the internet speed is good so that there is no error in fee payment. The MBA CET fee amount is non-refundable.

There is no provision of changing test city in MAH CET MBA unlike other MBA entrance exams such as CAT or CMAT. The option to change the test city preference is not given in the MAH MBA CET form correction process. Thus, candidates be very careful in selecting test cities in the online form. If they select wrong cities they will have to fill a fresh form in order to be allotted the exam centre in the correct choice of city. Candidates must also keep in mind to fill the form before the deadline as once the registration window is closed no request for editing of form will be entertained and the test centre will be allotted as per the selection made in the form.
Candidates should choose their home town or city of current residency as the first option. If there is no MAH CET test centre in your town/city, choose the nearest city. You must cross check the information that they have entered in the form twice before hitting the submit button.
The MAH MBA CET application form will have a section where candidates can select test city as per their choice. They can select up to three cities from the given list. Select the first city as the first preference. The exam authorities try to allot the exam centre to the candidate in the city of first preference. Select your home town as first preference so that they are allotted the nearest exam centre.
MAH MBA CET exam centre venue will not be mentioned in the application form so you will have no access to that information. You will have to make the selection on the basis of the names of cities only. The venue address will be printed on the MAH CET admit card only.
