The State CET Cell announced the MAH MBA CET CAP 2026 registration dates on July 2 and started the application process on the same day. The last date to register for CAP 2026 was July 19. The provisional merit list was released on July 23 and the final list was announced on July 27. The seat allotment round of CAP 2026 began on August 2 with the release of provisional merit list of first CAP round 2026. In the MAH CET CAP 2026 Round 1, the highest cut off was for JBIMS at 99.99 percentile. MAH CET CAP 2026 Round 2 seat allotment list was released on August 12 and Round 3 seat allotment was released on August 24. The final round seat allotment list has been been released on September 3. Candidates have to complete admission formalities by filling seat acceptance form online and visit the college between September 4 and September 7.
MAH MBA CAP 2026 Vacant Seat List Round 4
Candidates from Maharashtra will get admission to MBA/MMS courses to state affiliated colleges and universities basis MAH CET 2026 score. They can choose from over 350 institutes which include private, government and government aided. Candidates from outside Maharashtra are eligible for CAP, having CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA scores.

What is MAH CET CAP Round 2026?
MAH MBA CAP is a common counselling process conducted for admission to MBA/MMS courses offered by colleges and universities in Maharashtra. Officially called, Centralised Admission Process (CAP), it is conducted in multiple rounds. Seats are allotted to candidate on the basis of their category, MAH CET score and choice of college. Candidates have to register for the CAP round, fill the choice filling form and finalise admission upon seat allotment. Candidates can select from minimum 1 to maximum 300 colleges for seat allotment.

Who Can Apply for MAH MBA CAP 2026?
Any candidate who has scored more than 0 in MBA CET 2026 is eligible for CAP round. Candidates belonging to All India category can apply with other MBA entrance exam score too. Check below the MAH CET CAP eligibility criteria, category wise.

How to Register for MAH MBA CET CAP 2026?
MAH MBA CAP 2026 registration form is available at the official website and will have to be submitted in online mode only. Check below the process to register for MAH CET CAP 2026.
- Visit the official website of MAH MBA CET CAP 2026
- Click on 'new candidate registration/registered candidate login'
- Enter name, country, state, email ID, phone number and a password
- A unique ID (application ID) will be generated and sent in email
- Authenticate registration and log into the portal to fill the MAH MBA CET CAP form 2026
- Enter personal and academic details, mention MAH CET score and select colleges
- Upload scanned copies of required documents (passport size photo and signature in recommended dimension)
- Take the printout of the duly filled application form and send it by speed/registered post or visit the Facilitation Centre for verification of documents and confirmation of application submission
MAH CET CAP Fee 2026
Candidates applying under All India category and with XAT, CAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA scores, and not MAH CET score, will have to pay CAP registration fee, while filling up the form. Once the CAP application form is verified by the competent authority, the candidates will receive a fee acknowledgement slip.

MAH MBA CET CAP Round 2026: Process
The CAP 2026 process will include four main steps – online registration, announcement of merit list, announcement of final merit list and seat acceptance.
1. MBA CAP 2026 registration and document verification
MAH CET 2026 qualifying candidates have to fill the CAP form at the official website and get documents verified through e-scrutiny and designated physical scrutiny centres. The admission cell will assess each applicant’s candidature basis his or her application form.
2: Announcement of provisional merit list
The provisional merit list of selected candidates and MBA CET cut offs will be announced before seat allotment. Candidates will have to submit their grievances (if any) along with required documents at the same Facilitation Centre.
3. Announcement of MAH CET final merit list
Final merit list will be announced for every CAP round indicating availability of seats. Candidates who will make it to the final merit list, will have to accepted the seat or wait for next round. Those who will get a seat, but not in their desired college, can use freeze’ option for admission acceptance and wait for the next round, if they think they are likely to get the college of their choice.

Candidates applying for MBA counselling through MAH CET exam will not have to pay fee. Those applying through CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/ATMA will have to pay the counselling fee.
No, the MAH CET application form and MAH CET Counselling form are different and candidates have to fill them separately. The MAH CET application form is valid for the entrance test only and the MAH CET counseling application form has to be filled by only those candidates who qualify the entrance test and wish to participate in the seat allotment process. The MAH MBA CET counseling registration form is released about 2 months after the entrance test result announcement. The candidates will have to fill the counseling form at the MAHA CET counseling portal.
Those who shall have filled the MAH CET MBA/MMS application form and appeared for the exam, will not have to pay the registration fee at the time of CAP. However, those who will be participating in MAH CET CAP through CAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT score will have to pay the registration fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 800 for registered category candidates).

4. Seat Acceptance
Those who have been allotted a seat and accept the admission offer under the MBA CAP 2026, will be required to report fill the seat acceptance form and pay confirmation fee of INR 1000. Thereafter, visit the college and complete admission formalities. Once they have accerpted the allotted seat, they cannot participate in the consequent rounds. If they wish to participate in the consequent round, they will have to choose for 'betterment' option and pay the confirmation fee provisionally.

MAH CET cut offs refer to the percentile on the basis of which seats are allotted to candidates during the counselling process. Candidates do not have to meet any sectional cut off to be eligible for admission into a particular MBA college. MAH CET cut offs will be declared for four rounds. MAH CET counselling is conducted partly in offline and partly online mode. There is no minimum marks required to appear in MAH CET counselling. Candidate with more than 0 in MAH CET or other entrance exams can register for CAP. However, selection will be based on minimum cut offs for the participating colleges.

During MAH CET counselling seats are allotted on the basis of:

Candidates will have to fill the MAH MBA CET counselling registration form which is different from the exam application form. The counselling form will be available at the examination portal as per the schedule for that year. Those applying through MAH CET score will have to only fill the registration form and not pay any fee. Those applying through other MBA entrance exam score will have to pay registration fee of INR 1200 (For Reserved category INR 1000).
After the MAH MBA CET result announcement the State CET will conduct common counselling for admission to about 300 colleges in Maharashtra, most likely in July-August. Qualifying candidates will be required to participate in MAH CET counselling for admission to participating MBA colleges in Maharashtra by filling the online counselling form. The MAH MBA CET counselling process will be conducted in two or three rounds and will be based on cut offs. Candidates will be allotted seat in the college of their choice, if they meet the minimum cut off percentile of that college.
The counselling will be held for mainly two categories – Maharashtra State candidates and All India candidates. Separate merit lists will be released for these two categories. To be eligible for MAH CET counselling candidates need to score more than 0 in MBA CET exam.
For JBIMS, Mumbai, the MAH CET cut off is usually 99.99 percentiel. The cut offs have remained static in the past 3-4 years.

Logical Reasoning section has 75 questions which are usually moderate but there can be a few questions that can challenge your skills. They can be confusing or time taking. Abstract Reasoning questions are easy, so candidates must target all 25 of them.
