NEET 2021 Syllabus changed or not? Here's what you should know
The Education Minister had said recently that the NEET 2021 will be conducted on the basis of the syllabus released by the exam conducting bodies.
NEET 2021: With the ministry giving no clarity on the NEET 2021 dates, the anxiety amongst the students is increasing every day. Though the announcement regarding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET) 2021 is still awaited, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank during his live interactions in recent times gave several hints pertaining to the NEET-UG 2021 dates and NEET 2021 Syllabus.
On January 18, the Education Ministry had announced that the NEET 2021 will be conducted as per the revised CBSE Board Exams syllabus. This had given relief to many students who have been eagerly waiting for the announcement of the NEET 2021 syllabus. However, the Ministry of Education on January 19 made an official announcement that NEET 2021 syllabus will remain unchanged for the academic year 2021.
With these two statements, now the question arises if the NEET 2021 syllabus is changed or not? So, the answer is no. As per the official notification, the NEET 2021 syllabus will remain unchanged, however, unlike previous years, students will be given a choice to answer the question in NEET 2021 exam. This year, the candidates will be given 20 per cent more questions to choose from to make up for the academic loss they went through due to the coronavirus outbreak.

- Reproduction
- Genetics and Evolution
- Human Welfare and Ecology
- Diversity in the Living World, Cell Formations, Plant and Human Physiology
NEET 2021 Chemistry Syllabus
- Structure of Atoms, Elements, Bonding, States of Matter, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, Hydrocarbons, Environmental Chemistry and Periodic Tables, Solid State, Solutions, Electrochemistry, Surface chemistry, ll chapters on Elements, Organic Compounds, Bio-molecules, and Polymers.
NEET 2021 Physics Syllabus
Thermodynamics, Bulk Matter, Gravitation, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Bodies, Work, Energy, Power, Law of Motion, Kinematics and Physical World, Atoms and Nuclei, Matter and Radiation, Optics, Electromagnetics, Magnetic Effects of Current.
Candidates must note that the NEET 2021 dates are expected to be announced by January 25, 2021. This is expected because the education minister during his recent interaction with students on January 10, 2021, announced that he will be announcing the dates in the next 10-15 days.
