NEET 2023 application form was originally released by NTA on March 6. The last date to submit the form was April 6, 11.50 PM. A lot of candidates requested NTA to extend the last date of the application process or to reopen the NEET 2023 application form process. As a response to this, NTA announced the reopening of the NEET 2023 application window from April 11 to April 13, 11.59 PM. However, due to technical glitches, the registration link could not be activated till April 12 evening. Accordingly, NTA revised the NEET 2023 second phase application dates from April 12 to April 15, 11.30 PM. The application fee had to be paid by 11.59 PM. NEET 2023 Registration Process
The first and foremost step of the NEET 2023 application process was to register. The step-by-step process to complete NEET 2023 registration is given below:
The NEET exam centre can only be changed during the application correction window. No changes can be made after the last date of submission of the NEET application form or after the conclusion of the application correction process. Once NTA releases the advance intimation to exam city slip, candidates will be appraised of their NEET exam city. The city will be one of the two entered by candidates during the application process.
The NEET registration 2024 process was conducted for little over a month. Started on February 9, 2024, the date of concluding the NEET 2024 registration process was March 16, 2024. Although originally the last date of NEET 2024 registration was March 9, but was extended till March 16, 2024. NTA also reopened the application process from April 9 to April 10. Based on multiple candidate and stakeholders requests, NTA decided to extend and later reopen the NEET 2024 application process.

After this, candidates had to review the information entered and can either edit the registration form or click on ‘Submit and Send OTP’. An OTP was sent to the registered mobile number which they had to enter. This generated the NEET 2023 Username and Password.
Factors to Select NEET 2023 Registration Password
While selecting the password, applicants should bear in mind the following factors:

How to Fill NEET 2023 Application Form?
Once the NEET registration process was complete, the next step was the most crucial one, to fill and submit the NEET 2023 application form. For this, they had to click on the ‘Complete Application Form’ tab. The form is divided into eight stages, which are listed below:
NEET form correction process is given below-
- Visit the NEET website and click on the Correction Window is Live link.
- Click on the Existing Candidate Login and enter your Registration Number and Password and log in your application form.
- The application form will open on your computer screen. Click on the Correction tab and read the instructions.
- Read the instructions and enter the OTP sent on your mobile number
- Check each section and make necessary changes on the applicable fields
- Verify the information and click on submit.
The NTA NEET registration procedure is completely online. The process of NEET application is given below:
- Visit the NEET website -neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the Registration link.
- Read all the instructions and register with personal details such as name, contact details, password, etc. to generate the application number and password.
- Verify OTP received through SMS and email.
- Log in and fill up the application form.
- Upload the documents (photograph, signature, finger and thumb impressions of both hands, category certificate).
- Pay the application fee in online mode through credit/debit card, net banking, and UPI.
- Submit and save the form.

Identification Details
Based on the valid Government Identification Number provided by candidates, which could be either Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, PAN Card or Passport, they had to select any one of the given options:

Exam Medium and City Selection
The next stage was to select the NEET 2023 question paper medium and exam centre city. Based on the language of the exam opted by students along with their address, candidates had to choose four states and cities in terms of their preference. On the same page, they had to enter their parents’ occupations and qualifications from the drop-down menu. This is followed by entering the Security Pin and clicking on ‘Save and Next’.

There is no change in the NEET 2026 syllabus. The NMC published the NEET syllabus for 2026 on December 23, 2025. As per the latest syllabus PDF, no new chapter has been added and there is no deletion of chapter as well.

NTA conducted the NEET 2025 application correction window from March 9 to March 11, 2025. The duration of NEET application correction was three days. The application correction window is available only for candidates who will complete the NEET 2025 application process by paying the application fee. There are specific fields which are available for edit and the rest of the fields are uneditable, for both Aadhaar verified and Aadhaar non-verified candidates. Prior to starting the correction process, candidates have to check the list carefully and then proceed. There is no additional fee required for availing the NEET application correction facility unless there is a change of category impacting the application fee amount.
