Karnataka SSLC Board Exam 2027: Syllabus (Released)

The Karnataka Board has decided to introduce ‘three annual examinations’ namely Exam 1, Exam 2 and Exam 3 for SSLC exams. Those who fail in exam 1 can appear for exam 2 and exam 3. Applications for Karnataka SSLC supplementary exams are done through schools. Students will have to pay the required fee to apply for the same. The KSEAB will announce the dates of the SSLC supplementary exam soon after the release of the SSLC result 2026. It is expected that supplementary exams will be held in May and June 2026. 

The Karnataka SSLC Results 2026 was out on April 23, 2026 at 12 pm. The official website link is now activated. Students can check the Karnataka Class 10 SSLC 2026 result online at karresults. Nic. In. They have to enter their registration number as well as the date of birth mentioned on the Karnataka SSLC admit card 2026. Students will also be able to check their Karnataka 10th Result 2026 via SMS and Digi Locker.

No, Students will not be allowed to appear for the Karnataka SSLC exam without the SSLC hall ticket. It is mandatory to carry the Karnataka 10th Hall ticket 2026 to the exam hall. Students can join for Plus two course after the 10th grade. Those who do not wish to go for 12th can join for Diploma engineering courses, ITI, poly technic courses, Diploma in hotel management, Diploma in fashion technology, Diploma in pharmacy etc. Even though there are so many Diploma courses, students are advised to complete 12th grade and then join degree course for better career growth. 

You can join for B.Tech course through lateral entry. After your 10th, you can join for 3 year Govt authorized Polytechnic Diploma course. Polytechnic course is a 3 year Diploma programme in fields like electronics, electrical engineering, civil, mechanical etc. Once you successfully complete Polytechnic course, you can appear for the Lateral entry entrance test. Thus you can join in the second year or 3rd semester of the regular BTech course in engineering colleges.

Karnataka SSLC admit card 2026 was out on March 2, 2026. Usually, the SSLC admit card is released 2 weeks before the commencement of the board exam. The Karnataka SSLC admit card 2026 can be accessed by school authorities only. Schools will download and distribute the Karnataka SSLC hall ticket 2026 to the students. 

The name of the conducting authority of the Karnataka 10th exam is the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB). In Karnataka, Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) conducts the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination every year in the month of March and April. The SSLC exams are conducted at the state level in three languages and three core subjects including are Science, Social Science, and Mathematics. Karnataka SSLC Exam-2 2026 will be held from May 18 to 25, 2026. The Karnataka board decided to keep 3 exams instead of supplementary exams. Karnataka SSLC 2026 Exam 1 was held from March 18 to April 2, 2026. The final dates of the Karnataka SSLC exam 2026 are released. SSLC exam 3 will be held in July 2026.

Regular students can apply through respective schools whereas private students can fill Karnataka 10th application form online through the official website.

Students have to collect their Karnataka SSLC original certificate from their schools. They will be notified by the schools after the release of the results. Usually, students will receive the Karnataka SSLC mark list within 2 weeks after the results.

Usually Karnataka SSLC exams are held in the morning. Karnataka SSLC exam will be held from 10.15 AM to 1.30 PM. 15 minutes is alloted for question paper reading. Karnataka SSLC exams are held for a duration of 3 hours. 

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) released the Karnataka SSLC Model Question Papers 2026 on its official website -kseab.karnataka.gov.in/. Karnataka SSLC Model Question Papers 2026 were released in Nov 2025. Students must download and practise the SSLC model question papers. It will help them to analyse their preparations.
