The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is prepping up to declare the Maharashtra HSC results i.e. 12th board results by mid-July. According to the latest media reports, Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad confirmed the release of Maharashtra HSC Results 2020 by mid-July and Maharashtra SSC Results by July-end on Tuesday i.e. June 16.

Maharashtra HSC, SSC Results 2020 Date Update 

The confirmation regarding the release date of the Maharashtra HSC Results 2020 from the Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad must have brought some relief to the Class 12 students of Maharashtra Board. Once the Class 12 board results will be released, students who appeared in the Maharashtra HSC board exams will be able to check their results online at maharesult.nic.in after it is declared.

According to the Maharashtra SSC Date Sheet 2020, Maharashtra Class 12th board examinations were conducted before the lockdown began, while the Geography paper of SSC exams which was earlier scheduled for March 23 could not be held. Later in May, the Maharashtra board canceled the SSC Geography exam and said that the students will be awarded an average of the marks obtained in the other five subjects for the last paper.

Maharashtra HSC Results 2020: Passing Criteria 

According to the qualifying mandates of the Maharashtra HSC Exams 2020 set by the Maharashtra Board, students must score at least 35 per cent or above to pass the 12th board exams. The 35 per cent include marks secured in both practical and theory exams. In case, the student fails to secure 35 per cent, s/he has to appear for the Maharashtra HSC Supplementary exams in order to pass the Maharashtra HSC Exams 2020.

MSBSHSE Class 12 Results 2020: Supplementary Exams 

Students don't have to worry in case they fail to qualify the Maharashtra HSC Board Exams 2020. MSBSHSE gives another chance to students with its supplementary exam. In case any student is unable to pass in one or more subjects in Maharashtra HSC result 2020 s/he can appear for Maharashtra supplementary exams in the offline mode. This year, supplementary exams will be held in the third week of July 2020 and the class 12 supplementary exam results will tentatively release on August 23, 2020. Last year, Maharashtra board HSC supplementary result was announced on August 23, 2019, while the exams were held from July 17 to August 3, in which around 128,914 students appeared.
