Karnataka SSLC Result 2025 to be released shortly. The Board will announce the SSLC Karnataka Result 2025 through its official website, i.e. kseab.karnataka.gov.in/. 

Karnataka SSLC Result 2025: The Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination results 2025 are anticipated to be announced by the end of April. According to School Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa, the SSLC exams were conducted between March 21 and April 4, 2025, across the state. The Board will announce the SSLC Karnataka Result 2025 through its official website, i.e. kseab.karnataka.gov.in/ and karresults.nic.in.

Karnataka SSLC Result 2025: Evaluation Process and Passing Criteria

The Board commenced the answer sheet evaluation process on April 15, 2025. Students may expect the SSLC Karnataka Board Result 2025 by the end of April. Minister Bangarappa clarified that the grace marks system from the COVID period will not be implemented this year. The board is reverting to the original system, where students must score a minimum of 175 marks across all subjects to be eligible for grace marks. Additionally, the passing threshold has returned to 35 marks, up from 25 during the COVID period.

A total of 8,96,447 students appeared for the SSLC exams this year, comprising 4,61,563 male and 4,34,884 female candidates. The examinations were held at 2,818 centres, with 65,000 assessors deployed across 240 evaluation centers to ensure a smooth and timely assessment process.

Previous Year's Performance

In the 2024 SSLC exams, a total of 8.9 lakh students registered, with 4.5 lakh boys and 4.3 lakh girls participating. The overall pass percentage was 73.40%, marking a decline from 2023's 83.89% and 2022's 85.13%. This was also a decline from the pre-pandemic year of 2019, when the pass percentage was 73.70%.

How to check Karnataka SSLC Result 2025?

Once the results are announced, students can check their SSLC results online by visiting the official website: karresults.nic.in. To access their results, students will need to enter their registration number and date of birth. Additionally, results can be accessed via SMS by sending 'KAR10 Registration Number' to 56263. Another option is to use DigiLocker by linking Aadhaar and mobile numbers.

In 2024, only one student secured 625 marks, compared to four students in 2023 who achieved the same score. The board is hopeful that the return to the original passing criteria will lead to improved performance in the 2025 exams.
