The Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur announces Abhivyakti'25, its annual flagship startup festival, scheduled from January 17 to 19, 2025. Centered around the theme ‘Unleashing Emerging Innovations,’ this dynamic three-day event will bring together startups, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, investors, students, and policymakers to explore cutting-edge advancements in technology and entrepreneurship. Jointly organised by SIIC and the Entrepreneurship Cell, a student-run nonprofit fostering entrepreneurial spirit on campus, Abhivyakti'25 promises to be a hub of inspiration and collaboration.

The three-day event will showcase an engaging startup exhibition, interactive panel discussions on India’s rise as a global tech powerhouse, and discussions on the ethical challenges of AI and machine learning in areas like security, privacy, and governance. Abhivyakti'25 will also feature pitch battles, where entrepreneurs can secure funding and mentorship, alongside exciting competitions such as the Best Startup Booth Contest, fireside chats, and visionary leadership talks.
Highlights include the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Tally, marking a key milestone in entrepreneurship and skill development, and the unveiling of new startup cohorts across diverse domains, fostering innovation in India’s startup ecosystem. Prof. Deepu Philip, Professor-in-Charge of SIIC, IIT Kanpur, commented, “Abhivyakti'25 marks a significant milestone in our mission to nurture innovation and entrepreneurship. With the support of our esteemed partners, we are building an ecosystem where startups can thrive, collaborate, and scale new heights.”
