GATE 2026 Exam Predictions

The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, is conducting the GATE 2026 exam. The IIT last conducted the exam in 2018 on the scheduled dates: February 3, 4, 10, and 11. Keeping the organising body in mind, here’s what we can predict the GATE 2026 question paper will be like solely based on the GATE 2018 paper analysis -

  • The paper can vary from moderate to difficult (for the popular streams)
  • Questions might incline more towards the concept and analytical-based.
  • The aptitude and engineering mathematics section is expected to be on the easier side. (Give extra attention to these topics as well.)
  • Numerical questions might play a major role in the structure of the GATE 2026 question paper. The questions can be lengthy and tricky.
