IIT Madras Pravartak Teams Up with SWAYAM Plus

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, in partnership with SWAYAM Plus, has launched a new initiative to equip Engineering and Science students with an electronics background with industry-ready technical skills. Interested candidates can register through the official IIT Madras Pravartak website: iitmpravartak.org.in/advanced_electronic_mfg till today.

The training programme will be held from October 7 to 18, 2024. Eligible candidates include Engineering, Diploma, and Science students or graduates with an electronics background. Participants will receive expert-led training along with dedicated placement assistance, boosting their career prospects in this fast-growing field.

Skill Training for Engineering and Science Students

The programme will be conducted in person at IIT Madras, featuring hands-on training focused on the Semiconductor Industry. The course fee is INR 15,000 plus GST. Accommodation is available on the IIT Madras campus at INR 650 per day per student, covering both food and lodging. Accommodation requests must be made by today: October 3.

This 11-day training programme will provide placement assistance for students who excel. Pravartak will select participants to ensure they gain industry-ready skills. The training will take place at the IIT Madras campus. The course will include PCB Assembly, Solder paste basics, stencil basics, solder paste printing, PCBA pick and place system, understanding of SMT reflow soldering, PCBA inspection systems, Overview of power electronic components, DC to DC power converters, AC to DC power converters, DC to AC inverters, PWM basics, Embedded system design with STM 32 microcontroller, Configuring GPIO ports, PWM generation, ADC and DAC interface, LCD interface, servo and stepper motor interface using STM 32.
