SIIC IIT Kanpur Teams Up with MeitY Startup Hub for Investor Connect Program

SIIC at IIT Kanpur, in partnership with MeitY Startup Hub, hosted the "Startup-Investor Connect Program". This initiative provided a platform for up-and-coming entrepreneurs to engage with seasoned investors and seek possible avenues for partnership. Know details here 

In partnership with the Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC) at IIT Kanpur, the MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) organised the "Startup-Investor Connect Program". This platform energised budding entrepreneurs, who have the backing of the MeitY funding program, to network with veteran investors and discover opportunities for potential collaborations. 

The program enabled meaningful conversations and valuable knowledge sharing, allowing startups to acquire an enhanced comprehension of the entrepreneurial environment, along with the possibilities for funding and expansion. This event demonstrated the cooperative ethos and dedication of both MSH and SIIC IIT Kanpur towards fostering the ongoing progress and achievement of startups within India.

Hosted at IIT Kanpur campus, spearheaded by the SIIC team, the program brought together a diverse array of startups and prominent investment organizations, including IvyCamp, RTAF, HPCL, SIDBI, BIORX, Sanchi Connect, Cummins India, Indian Angel Network, Danazir Wealth Management, Singhania & Co, Lawsikho, and Skill Arbitrage. The startups showcased their groundbreaking ideas and business models, while the investors shared valuable insights into market trends, investment opportunities, and scaling strategies.

Commenting on the success of the program, Prof. Ankush Sharma, Professor In-charge, Start-up Incubation and Innovation Centre, IIT Kanpur, said, "By creating a platform for meaningful connections between innovative startups and experienced investors, we have taken a significant step towards empowering entrepreneurs and driving the growth of India's vibrant startup ecosystem.
