The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to announce the NEET result 2025 today, i.e. June 12, 2025. Students who have appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) in session 2025, will be able to check their results and download NEET UG 2025 scorecards using their login credentials.
The NEET UG result download link 2025 will be activated at the NTA official website, i.e. neet.nta.nic.in. As per the schedule, the NEET 2025 result date by NTA has been mentioned as June 14, 2025. That means the result may be announced anytime before June 14. It is expected that the results will be announced today on the web portal for all candidates. However, the NEET 2025 result date and time is yet to be confirmed by the NTA officials.

What is a Safe Score in NEET UG 2025?
A safe score in the NEET exam 2025 is the minimum score that gives a strong chance of getting admission to government medical colleges under the All India Quota (AIQ) or State Quota (SQ), depending on the category of the student. The NEET UG safe score and the cutoff are two different aspects of the examination. The safe score is a competitive score highlighting the probability of securing a seat.

The NEET cutoff score or ranks for Government medical colleges vary for each year and rounds. Moreover, the cutoff for the top ranked colleges is higher than that of the Government colleges with comparatively lower scores. For the General category, NEET cutoff for Government colleges is generally above a score of 700 or above. For some Government colleges with a comparatively lower rank, there might be multiple rounds of NEET counselling and the final round cutoff may be around 450-500.
