CTET 2023 Exam Analysis Paper 1
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the 17th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on August 20, 2023. The CTET 2023 Paper 1 was held from 9.30 am to 12.00 noon and Paper 2 from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm. The CTET 2023 Paper 1 comprises a total of 150 MCQs of one mark each. A total of 30 MCQs are asked from each section- Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and EVS.

- There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in the exam.

No, coaching is not necessary for the CTET exam. Candidates can prepare well through self studies. One needs to cover the syllabus, solve previous year question papers and mock tests to clear the exam.
