Absolutely dissatisfied with the reality of CU 's placements and the fee they take.
Placements: You won't know about placements until you come into your second year. Their placement eligibility criteria comes from marks, but they deduct students by attendance first from sitting in placements. 90% attendance in a subject whose 2 classes happen in a week, then amcat exam mandatory attendance of this online exam By chance, if you missed any of these or any attendance-based criteria, you will be able to get placed on campus every year. More than 10k students join CSE, and only 4-6k are able to survive through attendance. Out of those 1000, they have a CGPA for sitting in placement, and an average of INR 25–30k a month is not so hard. Why they claimed 100% placements and we are spending about 8–9 lacs without our stay or hostel feels for these 4 years where they teach 3 months for every semester with 1 week of exams, mst/practical, and finals, so you can understand they are not running an education institute; they are running a business. Those ranks can be bought easily.
Infrastructure: They are taking enough money for me to give them a 4-star rating as they are installing AACs in classes, but they will raise fees for it, and buildings are big, infrastructure is above average but not excellent, and mess food is above average. The 5-seater hostels have big rooms, but the 4-seater hostels are so small.
Faculty: Month after month of tests, no time for proper studies; only 3 months of semesters, for which they take INR 100,000 fees, is too much, and out of which we have 3–4 weeks for exams only. Some are good; they teach well and do their work, but some teachers are not understandable much, but they will still say the faculty tries their best in engineering.
Other: They are pure marketers; they will attract you with scholarships. They will do their best to snatch your scholarship from the first year, and then after that, snatch your placements.

I would recommend students to join this university.
Placements: The highest salary package offered was 75 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Infosys. Almost 50% of students got internships in our college and top roles depend on students' skills.
Infrastructure: It is one of the best laboratories in India with good technologies. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Hostel facilities are not good so students prefer flats and PGs. Medical and sports facilities are better.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best. They are very polite, and their teaching quality is better. Our course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: CU is one of the best-ranked universities in India. I love coding so I opted for this course. Everything is good and nothing is required to improve. Scholarships are also provided to merit students. Fests and events are also conducted, and Punjabi bollywood celebrities also visit our campus for entertainment purposes.

Review of Chandigarh University.
Placements: In my university, placements are meant for students who are serious about their academics and have the necessary skills to excel in their respective fields. A minimum CGPA of 8.00 is required to be eligible for placements. Along with maintaining this academic standard, students are also expected to develop overall skills and earn relevant certifications that enhance their professional profile. These criteria ensure that the students presented to recruiters are well-prepared and capable of meeting industry demands.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my university is truly impressive. Every campus is well-equipped to support learning and extracurricular activities. However, the South Campus stands out with its modern facilities, well-designed buildings, and vibrant atmosphere. Among all the spots, B5 DACA is particularly special. The vibe there is unmatched. It's a place where students not only study but also interact, share ideas, and create unforgettable memories.
Faculty: Faculty and staff across the university are supportive and approachable. They are dedicated to helping students achieve their academic and professional goals. However, it's equally important to remember that how we interact with them plays a significant role in the relationship we build. Respectful and positive communication goes a long way. Personally, I always try to be friendly with all teachers and staff members. I believe that they work for our growth, and maintaining a good rapport makes the entire learning experience more enriching.

Our college provides good placements.
Placements: Around 90% of students got placed this year. The highest salary package offered is 1.7 crore per annum and the average salary package is 15 LPA. Companies like IBM, Wipro, Google, and Amazon offer placements. Around 80% of students get internships. Roles offered are software developer, web developer, data analyst, and many more.
Infrastructure: Every block in our college has Wi-Fi facilities and a separate library. Each floor has labs. The quality of food served is good. There are proper medical facilities. Hostlers get extra facilities like sports kits. Hostel rooms have separate study tables and almirahs for students.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Exams are not much difficult. The pass percentage is about 87%.
Other: I chose this course as I want to become a software developer. The best thing is I love to do coding. Events are organised every month.

I recommend you to join the college without any doubt.
Placements: In our college, almost 94% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Amazon, Capgemini, Cognizant, Google, etc., visit our campus. Top roles offered are HR, manager, programmer, application designer, application developer, and more. The highest salary package offered is 1.7 CPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Some of them got internships with companies and training for industry work.
Infrastructure: Our college facilities and infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi is free across the university. Our labs, classrooms, and libraries are the most efficient ways to attract and interact. The quality of the hostel food is better but not good for south Indians. There are medical and sports games as fast as an ambulance and a sports complex. There are coaching teachers who teach games and sports to play.
Faculty: Our teachers help clear up doubts regarding the subject and the quality of teaching is not so good. This course is relevant and it makes students ready for the industry. Exams are a little bit hard but we can crack them by managing our studies. Exams are conducted offline on campus.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Faculty and management need to improve. Events and fests are held to a high standard and the majority of college students take part in programs.
