For B.Tech Programs offered by the Department of Biotechnology, Department of Genetic Engineering and Department of Biomedical Engineering - Minimum 60% aggregate in PCM / PMB/PCB/PCB or Z (Botany or Zoology). Students who have not studied Mathematics as one of the major subjects in +2 must undertake an additional 4 credit courses in Mathematics during the First Year of B.Tech. Students who have completed +2 under NIOS must have completed the 10th standard from regular schooling or vice-versa. Students who have not studied Chemistry should undergo a bridge course in Chemistry in the first year. Candidate Should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.
