The Central Board of Secondary Education will release CBSE 10th exam dates 2027 in October 2026. The exam will be conducted between February to March. Last year, the exam was conducted from February 17 to March 11. The date sheet highlights the important events related to CBSE 10th exam. The second board exam will be conducted in May 2026. Q: When should I reach CBSE 10th exam centre?

The Board has asked all the students to reach their examination centres on or before 10 am. The exam will start at 10.30 am. The entry in the examination centre will be from 9 am to 10 am.

Q: How many students appear for CBSE 10th board exams every year?

Over 33 lakh students appear for the Maharashtra board 10th exams every year.

In 2024, the total number of registered students was 22,51,812, the number of students who appeared for the exams were 22,38,827. Of these, number of students who passed the exam were 20,95,467 making the total pass percentage 93.60%.

Q: Will I be allowed to enter CBSE Class 10 exam centre if late?

The doors of the examination hall will open 45 minutes before the time specified for the starting of the exam, i.e at 9.45 am. Students must be in their seats 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the exam. No students will be allowed to enter the exam hall after 10 am.
