Goa SSC Exam Pattern 2026: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) will release the Goa board SSC Pattern 2026 on the official website -gbshse.gov.in. The Goa 10th exam pattern 2026 gives an idea about the questions asked and the marking scheme. Students should go through the entire Goa SSC Syllabus and finish the same on time. They are advised to go through the Goa SSC exam pattern 2026 for Goa SSC board exams. 

Students who are going to appear in the GBSHSE SSC exams 2026 should carefully go through the new Goa board 10th syllabus and start with their exam preparation. The Goa Board 10th exam timetable 2026 is released on the official website. The Goa 10th board exam 2026 is being held from March 13 to April 9, 2026.

For Non practical subjects:

  • Board paper will be of 80 marks
  • Time duration is 180 minutes

For practical subjects:

  • Board paper will be of 70 marks
  • Time duration is 180 minutes
  • Board practical will be of 20 marks
  • Time duration is 60 minutes

The question paper consists of 40 multiple choice objective type questions. All questions are compulsory. Every question has four choices for its answers (A), (B), (C), (D) and only one of them is correct. Select the appropriate from among the four choices. Each correct answer will carry one mark. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answer

To clear the Goa Board SSC exam 2026, students need to score overall grade from A to G per subject. A student should score a minimum of H grade in the theory and practical exams separately. No, Goa SSC board does not deduct marks for exceeding the word limit in the board exams. However, marks may be deducted for spelling mistakes and other errors in language papers. 

Q:   What is the grading system of Goa SSC Result 2026?

Those who score 91% to 100% marks are awarded with A grade. Grade value is 10 for A grade. They are given remarks as outstanding. B grade is given to those scoring from 81% to 90%. Those who achieve 71% to 80% are given C grade. D grade is given to those scoring 61% to 70%. E grade is given to those scoring 51% to 60% marks.

Even if a student fails in Goa SSC model exam, he or she can appear for the Goa SSC board exam. Model exams help students to know how well they are prepared for the Board exam. A student cannot be detained from appearing in the Goa Class 10 Board exam, if failed in pre board exam. Hence students need not worry, if they fail in pre board. They are advised to prepare well within the remaining time and appear for the board exam.

No, you will not be able to enroll for Goa HSSC without clearing Goa 10th exam. It is mandatory to pass the 10th grade to join Goa 12th. Those who fail in the 10th grade can appear for supplementary exam.

There is no provision for conducting the Goa SSC exam twice in a year. Goa SSC  board Exam is conducted once in a year. Goa 10th exam is held in the month of March. The board conducts supplementary exam in June/July for those who did not clear the Goa SSC board exam.
