The eligibility criteria for the BTech course at Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is that candidates should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate. Aso, candidates need to clear the national-level entrance exams which include JEE Main, and JEE Advanced. Further, the duration of the course is areound four years. Eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website of these national level entrance exams.

Admission to the BTech courses offered by IIT Madras are entrance-based and done on the basis of scores obtained in JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. Seats are allocated through JoSAA counselling after the results of the entrance exams are out. IIT Madras JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 was concluded for different courses such as BTech, Integrated BTech and BS. The cutoff for the General AI category candidates closed at a range of 159 and 10682. During 2023, the cutoff ranks for the same was closed at a range of 148 and 11185.
