UCEED: IIT Roorkee Cutoff for B.Des
IIT Bombay released the UCEED Cutoff Marks 2026 in the form of Mean and Standard Deviation on February 05, 2026. The mean and standard deviation for Part-A (UCEED 2026) are 70.86 and 25.77. Students who wish to take admission to IIT Roorkee for B.Des must appear for the UCEED Entrance Test and meet the programme-wise and college-wise cutoff scores. Admission to IIT Roorkee B.Des programme is done through UCEED Entrance Examination.
To get admission in top IITs, candidates should score between 125 to 150+. Scoring 200+ is ideal for admission to top IITs. A rank below 15-20 for General is required for admission. UCEED Scorecard is available for download by IIT Bombay on the official website of UCEED. It can be downloaded using the email ID and password. Scorecard is valid for a period of one year from the date of issue. The scorecard is available from March 10, 2026 to July 31, 2026.
Application to B.Des Programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur (Participating Institutes) will begin from March 14, 2026 (Saturday), 10:00 AM. The application portal will be closed on April 10, 2026 (Friday), 5:30 PM. UCEED Counselling will start from April 21, 2026.

The cut off marks for UCEED 2026 Part A were released on February 05, 2026.
The admission cut-off for Round I of UCEED 2026 will be released alongside the seat allotment results on April 21, 2026.
This will be followed by 2nd allotment on May 19, 2026. The 3rd round of allotment will be declared on June 10, 2026.
The cut-off has been released in the form of category-wise opening and closing ranks. Also, the cut-off is released for all the participating institutes. Candidates who meet the cut-off criteria will get admission to the B. Des programme. However, if the candidate fails to meet the cut-off criteria, he or she will be considered for admission in subsequent rounds. Note that UCEED 2026 counseling will have FIVE seat allotment rounds, and for each round a separate cut-off would be released.

If you have biology as a subject in 10+2, then you can apply for B.Des programme at IIITDM Jabalpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.
To apply at IIITDM, you need to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects in 10+2.

No, you cannot apply for B.Des programme at IIT Roorkee even if you have cleared the UCEED Entrance Exam because Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory subjects in 10+2. But you can apply for B.Des programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore.
