UCEED Cutoff Seat Intake 2025
The number of seats plays a major role in the selection of the candidates. Let us have a look at the UCEED SEAT Matrix.
The admission cut-off for Round I of UCEED 2026 will be released alongside the seat allotment results on April 21, 2026.
This will be followed by 2nd allotment on May 19, 2026. The 3rd round of allotment will be declared on June 10, 2026.
The cut-off has been released in the form of category-wise opening and closing ranks. Also, the cut-off is released for all the participating institutes. Candidates who meet the cut-off criteria will get admission to the B. Des programme. However, if the candidate fails to meet the cut-off criteria, he or she will be considered for admission in subsequent rounds. Note that UCEED 2026 counseling will have FIVE seat allotment rounds, and for each round a separate cut-off would be released.

NIFT and UCEED are equally tough. NIFT has more levels or stage where as UCEED has only one level. UCEED focuses more on Graphic design, Product Design, etc., whereas NIFT focuses on Fashion design, Textile design, etc. The difficulty level of the exam depends on the preparation of the candidates.

Yes, candidates who applied through the scores of the UCEED are required to appear for the Drawing Test for further evaluation. UCEED 2026 question paper will have two parts, Part A and Part B. Part B answer booklet will be checked only if a candidate qualifies Part A or meets cut-off. The qualifying cut-off for Part A will be determined by admission committee. It will be used to shortlist candidates for Part A. All candidates who qualify Part A will be allocated a merit rank and total score.
