BBNL Recruitment: How to apply?

The candidates are required to follow the below steps to fill out the BBNL Recruitment through GATE 2025 application form. Have a look:

Step 1: GATE Registration Number Validation

Firstly, enter your GATE 2025 Registration Number mentioned on the GATE admit card, click agree to the certification, and press continue. In the next step, the candidate must fill the BBNL Online Registration Application Form Part 1 which will appear on the screen after the validation process. In the form, you need to fill your details such as name as registered for GATE, father’s name, community, e-mail ID, mobile number, address for communication, etc.

The candidate needs to upload a scanned image of a recent passport-size photograph, the same as GATE 2025, in jpg/.jpeg format with a size not exceeding 100 kb. The dimensions of a scanned photograph must be 4.5cm x 3.5 cm. After this, you will receive a verification link sent by BBNL to the Email ID provided in Application Part 1. Now, verify the link sent to the email ID by clicking on it.

Step 2: Fill BBNL Online Application Form

This step is the application process is BBNL Online Application Part II.

• Log in with the GATE 2025 Registration Number
• Enter your professional details and academic qualifications and experience like a candidate's name, father’s name, DOB, community, email ID, GATE registration number, mobile no, and permanent address for communication.
• After submission of details, an email will be received in the registered email-ID with a link for activation.
• Click on the link, the registration process will go on the next stage.
• Upload the scanned image of the signature in .jpg/.jpeg format with a size not exceeding 30 kb (dimensions 4.5cm x 3.5 cm)

Note: The details entered by the candidate in the application form should match that of the 10th Class certificate.

Step 3: Application Fee Payment

In this step, the candidates need to make the online payment of the BBNL application fee, which can be made either online or offline. The application fee for the BBNL recruitment form is Rs 500/- and SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates are exempted from payment of application fees. For BBNL online payment, the candidate can use Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking. In case of offline payment, follow the steps:

• Download the Punjab & Sind BANK Challan prefilled with the specific details.
• Make the application fee payment in any branch of Punjab & Sind Bank.
• Now log in again through the BBNL Applicant Login Menu and submit the form finally.
• In case of offline payment, the candidate will have to wait for three days for the payment verification.

Step 4: Application Fee Payment

Applicants can take the print out of their successfully filled BBNL application form for future reference. Only when the payment is verified, the Applicant will be able to print the applications.

BBNL Recruitment: Selection Process

GATE Score

• Interested & eligible candidates with valid GATE Scores in the EC/CS/EE papers.
• GATE 2025 marks carry 75% of the weightage, and a personal interview, conducted in May-June, carries the rest 25%.
• The score will be valid only if the candidate obtains more than or equal to the qualifying marks.

Personal Interview

• In the next stage of selection, qualified candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Personal Interview by BBNL.
• The selection will be done on the marks obtained by candidates in GATE 2025.
• Apart from the above mode of shortlisting, Psychometric tests and/or any other selection tools/tests may be considered for preliminary shortlisting.
