GATE 2021 admit card: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has released the GATE 2021 Admit Card today i.e. January 8. Candidates aspiring to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021 will be able to download the admit card from the official website: gate.iitb.ac.in.

GATE 2021 Admit Card/Hall Ticket: Steps to Download
GATE admit card can only be downloaded online from the official website of GOAPS by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step-1: Visit the official website of GOAPS
Explore colleges based on GATE
Step-2: Login to the candidate's dashboard using the Enrollment ID and password
Step-3: Click on “Download GATE Admit Card”
Step-4: Your GATE admit card 2021 will be displayed and downloaded on your system

It is to note that the admit card of GATE 2021 will be available only for the candidates who have registered successfully for the exam. All aspirants will be required to take coloured printouts of the GATE admit card 2021 and bring it to the examination centre along with a valid and non-expired photo identity proof. After downloading the admit card, candidates must check the following things on it:
Photograph and signature: Candidates must check that their admit card has the same photograph as uploaded by them while filling the GATE 2021 application form. The photograph on the admit card of GATE 2021 should also match with the appearance of the candidate on the day of examination. The coloured printout is recommended for this by the exam authorities.
Details: Candidates must check and verify all their personal and exam related details such as name, parent’s name, paper/subject chosen, exam date, venue, reporting time, and instructions. In case of any discrepancy, candidates must inform the zonal IITs.
GATE 2021 examination will be conducted on February 6 and 7 and February 13 and 14 in two shifts. The first shift (Forenoon) will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and the second shift (Afternoon) will be conducted from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The examination would be conducted on 27 subjects online. As per the GATE exam pattern, the question paper will consist of 65 questions for a total of 100 marks including some questions for which numerical answers must be keyed in by the candidate using a virtual keypad. The GATE 2021 result will be announced by the IIT Bombay on March 22, 2021.

Yes, GATE has negative marking for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) only. In GATE question paper, MCQs will be of one and two marks. Hence, the marking scheme for such questions can be checked below -
