KEAM 2019 (Round 3): Changes in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) Cutoffs

Here's a round wise KEAM 2019 cut off comparison (2018 vs 2019) for electrical & electronics engineering.

Next in our series of KEAM 2019 course cut off comparison (2018-2019) is electrical & electronics engineering. In this article, we will give you the insights of the rise and fall of closing ranks with respect to this course. The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) has released the latest KEAM cut offs (opening and closing ranks) on July 18 for round 3. Cut offs for round 1 & 2 were released on June 20 and July 7 respectively.

In the third round of KEAM 2019 cut offs released for electrical & electronics engineering, most of the colleges witnessed an upward movement in the closing ranks with an average of 6150 ranks. However, the EE closing ranks for four popular colleges have dipped by an average of 10833.

CEE had released three rounds of KEAM 2019 cut offs for various participating institutes for admission to undergraduates engineering, architecture and pharmacy courses. Below is a comparison table of round wise KEAM cut offs 2019 for electrical & electronics engineering (EE).

KEAM EE 2019 Cut Off Highlights

• In round 3 KEAM cutoff, Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology, Kuttichal, Nehru College of Engg. & Research Centre, Thiruvillwamala and Royal College of Engineering & Technology, Thrissur are only top three institutes which rose with 2988, 38744, and 1216 ranks respectively in comparison to last year. All other institutes had a dip in cutoff ranks in 2019.
• KEAM cutoff for Round 2 saw a major jump in the ranks for some of the institutes as compared to last year, colleges like Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology, Kuttichal, Nehru College of Engg. & Research Centre, Thiruvillwamala and Royal College of Engineering & Technology, Thrissur and Sree Buddha College of Engineering, Nooranadu.
• In round 1, colleges including Viswajyothi College of Engineering & Technology,Vazhakulam, AWH Engineering College, Kozhikkode and University College of Engineering,Thodupuzha witnessed a major jump of 12222, 10177 and 5934 ranks respectively in comparison to 2018.
• As per the official data for round 1 KEAM cut offs, Vidya Academy of Science & Technology, Thrissur saw a major drop of 11631 ranks followed by Jyothi Engineering College, Cheruthuruthy and Royal College of Engineering & Technology, Thrissur with a drop of 4804 and 4268 ranks respectively.
• Colleges including Viswajyothi College of Engineering & Technology,Vazhakulam, AWH Engineering College, Kozhikkode and University College of Engineering,Thodupuzha witnessed a major jump of 12222, 10177 and 5934 ranks respectively in comparison to 2018.
