KEAM cut offs 2019 for Mechanical Engineering (ME) were declared after each round of seat allotment. The round 3 cutoff of KEAM counselling was released on July 18. The Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala had earlier released round 1 & 2 of KEAM cut offs (opening and closing ranks) on June 20 and July 7 respectively.

- In Round 3 of KEAM counselling for Mechanical Engineering course witnessed a sharp fall of ranks in the three institutes - Mar Baselious College of Engg. & Tech., Thiruvananthapuram, Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology, Kuttichal and Sree Narayana Guru Institute of Science & Tech., N. Paravoor with 11741, 3792 and 7745 ranks respectively.
- In the 2nd round of KEAM 2019 counselling, a major decline in ME rank was seen in Sree Narayana Guru Institute of Science & Tech., N. Paravoorr institute with 44242 rank in 2019 while last year the rank in the institute was 34497. The difference in both the years is 9745 ranks.
- Among the colleges that witnessed an upward movement of closing ranks in mechanical engineering in round 1, the top three are Mount Zion College of Engineering, Pathanamthitta, Viswajyothi College of Engineering & Technology, Vazhakulam and AWH Engineering College, Kozhikkode with 3083, 2599, 2979 ranks respectively.
- Top three colleges that witnessed a major drop are Jyothi Engineering College, Cheruthuruthy, Vimal Jyothi Engineering College, Chemperi and LBS College of Engineering, Kasaragod with 5744, 2585 and 2431 ranks respectively.
