MET 2025 April 18 Paper Analysis: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) conducted the MET 2025 April 18 paper today. The MET 2025 Phase 1 today paper was held in two slots – Slot 1 (9 AM to 11 AM) and Slot 2 (1 PM to 3 PM), at various examination centres. Based on the initial reactions of the students who appeared for the exam, the MET 2025 April 18 paper analysis is that the examination was of moderate difficulty. The memory-based MET 2025 question paper PDFs with answer key solutions will also be available here. Using the MET 2025 unofficial answer key, the candidates will be able to asses their performance in the entrance exam.

MET 2025 Phase 1 exam was conducted on April 18 and 19, 2025, as a computer-based test. At the exam centre, the candidates had to present their MET 2025 admit card and identity proof to the authorities. The authorities do not release the official MET 2025 answer key online.

MET 2025 April 18 Paper Analysis

As per the initial reactions of the students who appeared for the MET 2025 April 18 paper, the overall examination was of moderate difficulty. Students found the exam easier than JEE Main 2025 April exam.

  • Overall Difficulty - Moderate
  • Physics: Students found it moderately difficult. Most of the questions were NCERT-based.
  • Chemistry: Most students reported that Chemistry was easy. 
  • Mathematics: Moderate. There were lengthy questions which made the section a bit tougher for the students.
  • English: This section was easy for the candidates

The authorities do not consider any other exam score for MET admissions. All students will have to attempt and qualify the MET exam to be eligible for admission into the participating campuses. However, the basic 12th standard qualifying exam mark eligibility has to be met.

Q:   What is the overall difficulty level of MET?
A: 

Overall, MET is of moderate difficulty. Candidates who are prepared for board exams will be able to simultaneously prepare for MET. In comparison to national level exams such as JEE Main, MET is considered easier.

Q:   What is the total score in MET?
A: 

As per MET exam pattern, total score is 240. However, for every wrong answer in MCQs, one mark will be deducted. There is no negative marking for NATs.

The official MET 2025 result has been announced. Candidates will be able to access the MET 2025 result link online at manipal.edu. The scores and ranks obtained in the entrance exam are announced through the MET result 2025. Candidates will be able to download their result in the form of MET 2025 scorecard. Qualified candidates will be able to participate in the MET 2025 counselling process.

In MET counselling process, candidates will first have to register online to pay counselling fee and select choice of courses and campuses. MET seat allotment will be announced online. Selected candidates have to confirm their admission before last date.
