The syllabus for MHT CET PCM (BE/BTech) and PCB (BPharma) is different. MHT CET PCM exam is conducted for admission to BE/BTech while the PCB examis conducted for BPharma courses. MHT CET PCM syllabus consists of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. PCB syllabus has Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Candidates must note that Physics and Chemistry syllabus is common/same in both PCB and PCM papers. Candidates can download the CET syllabus from Shiksha page or from the official website.
MHT CET is conducted for multiple courses and the syllabus is different for each course. The syllabus of MHT CET PCM Group (BE/BTech) includes class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics topics. For MHT CET PCB Group (BPharma), the syllabus consists of Biology, Physics and Chemistry. The syllabus of MHT CET consists of all topics of class 12 while only a few topics of class 11 are covered in the CET syllabus.
NCERT books are one of the best companion in the path of clearing MHT CET exam. Many students who secured top ranks in previous years in MHT CETs as well as other exams like JEE had pointed that they studied through NCERT books. The best part of studying NCERT is that they are easy to understand, have lots of examples to understand the topics and also have numerical questions to evaluate the performance. Students who rely only on NCERT books for clearing MHT CET have fair chance to getting a good score, however, students targeting 99-100 percentile are advised to refer additional books beside NCERTs.
